I've just googled the Marchioness.

The only "link" to the Marchioness is that it's a boat on the Thames that's got into trouble.

If TV can never show a situation where people die because people have died in that type of situation, TV will soon be very anodyne and Casualty will have to stop!

I remember the Marchioness disaster very well. I was 15 & had been to a couple of boat parties.
We lived in Greenwich at the time so boat parties were a common thing, it felt very much like too close to home.
I have to admit I have thought about it while this has been on & wondered how the families/survivors might feel about it.

Tonight's episode very confusing. You feel like you've seen it before because they keep going over the same stuff again and again.

Each episode this week has been knackering and so far fetched its a joke

I just wish someone would tell Phil that his wife slept with a handsome 20 year old, and both the 20 year old who he thought was like a second son and his wife didn't care because he is a bit of a macho, sexist one dimensional twat. That's not aimed at Steve McFadden, as he says the part well, but the character of Phil Mitchell does need someone to hold a mirror up to him and tell him straight. I'd much rather see that kind of showdown than all this weird jostling with guns thrown in.

It was very interesting that all the characters we asked the whereabouts of were found and all the people we asked how they got on the boat were explained!

I'm also enjoying it. I think it's done well because we are actually all guessing. I even enjoyed the moment between Keanu and Phil. They actually care deeply for one another hence the feeling of a bigger betrayal.

But I do think the characters this is Center Ed around is the relationship between Phil and Ben, Sharon and Denny and the 4 of them as a family unit.

But they won't kill Callum will they? They've already killed off one of bens boyfriends.

I really do not want Callum to die! Please let someone find him! The place can't be far away as Shirl got there in no time at all. I like Callum I want him and Ben to be happy.
