And the scene between him and Keanu shows he thought he'd found an ally and even they betrayed him.

OK, so things are getting a bit clearer now.

I did laugh at how Phil (fairly bulky and not at the peak of fitness) managed to disappear from Karen's minuscule kitchen/living room after Billy had whacked him on the head!

I agree VanGoghs about the Marchioness link and there's a link to other disasters all the time. There's actually a very personal link to me in these episodes in fact involving Sharon's situation.

I like that they've done these different viewpoints episodes. Even if they don't completely work I think it's interesting that they've tried it.

The thing is as each episode happens I keep hoping that it'll be a different actor playing the captain. But no, always the same.

It looks like I'm alone in thinking tonight's episode was a load of rubbish.

Its like the writers are indulging themselves. I thought the episode seemed very very long which is always a bad sign.

It went quite quickly for me but then I was also nattering to dd!

So the boat had just one driver who left the wheel house and control of the boat to go break up a fight ! I predict Denny will drown synchronised with the new baby's arrival. The out pouring of grief will heal the rifts and Ian will carry the guilt.

At the start of last nights episode someone says ' one fatality' so we know at least one dies, ( might be the captain ? ) Gives me hope it's not Callum, but could be a double death? That would be very grim.

It's Mock sitting on the bench in his velour green suit at the beginning of each episode that gets me. 😂

I'm going with Bex. The absence of Martin throughout this is leading me to this conclusion.

Reading through this thread has made me realise how many good characters the show has just now.

Martin. Because we haven't seen him all week. He's the link between Phil and Ben. Left with the them holding guns, Martin turns up, and they turn on him. Ken/Martin/Ben/Phil standoff.

It's not a huge boat , so the fact that people are in and out and on top of it without them all clocking each other is funny!
At least we heard Keanu say ' which dock is the boat at' rather than just run off to it , that was a bit of realism for a change! he looks different with hair and a beard.
Poor Sharon too : a complex birth plus her age will take it's toll on her. She needs help.

I think that each of these episodes make more sense as they go along. Obviously I guess! I actually think it's quite cleverly done.

I don't know who I think dies. I hope it isn't Bex or Denny. I don't think it is Denny, Mick or Linda as I wouldn't have thought they would have recovered the bodies that quickly. Perhaps Tina fell in and her womble boots weighed her down.

I bet it’s the bus crash all over again. No ee character will die. The captain will go down with his boat a la titanic.

I quite enjoyed last night I felt a bit sorry for Keanu, I really really hope Callum isn't dead he is a nice lad!

I think Bex and Keanu will leave/die as neither have a part anymore. Dotty will stay as she is an ongoing link to Nasty Nick and they need someone to work in the Arches if Ken goes cos Ben never does.
All the big characters (Mitchells Fowlers Taylors Carters Slaters and Tracy) will stay but may need an overnight stay in a private room to fully recover for life threatening/changing injuries.
Denny will be forever grateful that he survives and become a force for good in the square (might have gone too far with that one even for EE)

Tina has an awesome figure and would look good in anything yet her clothes and shoes are so wacky.
I'd love to know who has the children: Baby
Cherry, the slater boys, Ollie , Amy and Ricky and Baby Abi as both Max and Rainie are on the boat! You hardly see the slater ones even when Jean is around. Denny said it was an inset day for him but some might be at school or nursery then a childminder? Shirley took off leaving Ollie alone!
