Phew, found you all ! I liked that routine really nice.

The bloody adverts are annoying though, 1 skater then adverts, no wonder it's such a long show for only 6 dancers.

Bubblysqueak the adverts are really bloody annoying, I pause for a while before I start watching so I can ff through them.

Perry should be good, he already has the advantage of being young, in peak condition, and knows how to move and lift.
Because of his dancing skills and not being afraid to throw himself around he should go far.

It's sad he got injured I was looking forward to seeing him back on the TV.

Oh and with regard to Tom's doctoring and pro skating

He manages it because he hasn't been a pro skater in years. Not technically. His career is being a doctor. He used to be in Hot Ice which is like Holiday on Ice but was a resident show in Blackpool. A lot of figure skaters will do a year or two in shows before 'moving on' to their 'real lives'.

There isn't much money in figure skating, unless you make the olympics. Lots of people want to go pro but at some point most will step down to pursue a career with better opportunities and stability.

For anyone who is good enough to be pro at a point it's not too hard to step back into it. Particularly for something like DOI as the technical difficulty of things they need to do is minimal.

Aww poor Michael, wonder will he give it another go next year, Keith Chegwin did after he broke his shoulder.
