Total farce. Perri and Vanessa were the winners. Joe was the most improved but even Christopher Dean said P+V's bolero was the best one he'd seen. Chucks pillow at tv set and flounces off......

I’m really happy! I wonder if he was top of the votes every week, we never know what they top looks like. Just always presumed it was Perri all the way through.
Perri was the better skater though! However, the public vote has come up trumps for me.

I love Alex though. Really pleased for her. She had a stroke a few years back and does awareness work. She was only 24. Absolutely inspiring.

I’ll have to watch the Boleros again as I was distracted but Peri was the better skater and should have won.

And James Jordan is finally a daddy! I didn't realise that Ola had given birth to their daughter last weekend. That's lovely news, especially given their struggle with ivf. He has been watching the final with baby in tow.

I’m kind of gutted that Perri didn’t win because he’s the most amazing contestant they’ve ever had on the show and was in a league of his own. I honestly thought the rest of them were battling it out for runner up.

HOWEVER.. Perri was already a dancer and an athlete, plus he already had great balance, strength and was used to performing. His initial performances were incredible too. Joe was just a regular contestant with no dance experience who has improved so much. (as had Ben) . Plus he was incredibly likeable.

But I still think Perri was robbed. And I also think this year they’ve spent too much time trying to be pc (gay/disabled/mix of sexes in finals etc) and it’s ruining the show.

Think the result is also part backlash from James Jordan winning last year. Perri would’ve done better to leave it a year rather than the ‘dancer’ being the clear favourite. Although Perri would always look like a clear favourite unless you bring back Ray Quinn and JJ.
