No they don't do a DOI/SCD overlap but at some point they might have to review that. Plus, I can see why doing SCD might help with artistic expression/avoiding sticky up thumbs and spatulistic hands, but not sure why doing DOI first would be that much of an advantage...except perhaps with lifts, I assume you learn how to be lifted/help the lift/how to hold your body in the lift but that's only really going to apply to the speciality dances anyway Salsa, Smooth and Charleston.
