Just flicking through and re-watching certain bits and I'm CONVINCED that Anton is going to announce his retirement at the end of this series...his hug to Shirley at the end of the judges' comments...NONE of their comments suggested it was a perfect 10. The 10s were all about Anton, not Emma

I didn't think Karims was all that either it was certainly busy and colourful but i was distracted b y it busyness

Hang on, was Artem a backing dancer?? How on earth did I miss him? And isn't that a bit odd to come back as a backing dancer when you were once a winner?

I disliked Karim's dance. It was far too chaotic.

My face Charleston ever was Caroline Flack and Pasha. It's was so clever.

If Michelle couldn't escape the bottom two last week after an excellent dance and second on the leaderboard, tonight's self indulgent mess won't do it.

Kelvin was absolutely worth a 40 - best dance of the series for me and the fact the audience pretty much applauded all the way through says it all. I was very pleasantly surprised as I thought he would be laboured and heavy as he is such a big guy but omg, he had swagger, style and fast kicks

So disappointed in Michelle's dance - Joe Varney doing camp did not work and there was so little dancing. Glad the judges saw through it.

But Kelvin was out of synch at the end. 39 was a fair score.

Voted for Chris and Alex. I think they epitomised what learning to dance and enjoying it is all about.

I just rewatched Anton and Emma. I really loved that and Anton was in his element. If I wasn't outside the UK they'd definitely get one of my votes.

Anton &Emmas dance warmed my cockles it was lovely well deserved 10s.

craig was exceptionally mean about Emma's facial expression, surely irrelevant.

Ballroom dancers always had a rictus grin in my day.

Re The Strap - even my DH commented on it and he is not one to notice if I wear a top inside out all day.

I liked the Joy of the evening. It felt very different to the intense and overwrought shows a few weeks ago.

But yes, Shell Face was a let down. I kept waiting for her legs to do something other than transport her torso from place to place on the dance floor. The choreography really let her down. She moved less than Neil, who was probably disguising his injury by letting Alex take the limelight.

I love Chris and Alex's attitudes but they both need to sort out their shoulders.
