I've watched 4 episodes and have to say that they all bloody well deserve each other! Such irritating personalities, each and every one of them. Having said that, I will obviously be watching the whole series

@Strawberrygoo I liked the Daughter too. Her and Patrick were clearly suffering from the actions of their Father. Leo was just abit of a brat.

I am enjoying it despite the many flaws but what I would really like to know is how is it possible to make squillions in such a rural area. I thought it was all tourism and low paid seasonal work.

We’re going away on a self catering weekend away tomorrow and I have not packed one single thing because I’m hooked on this.

I'd like to know which train you can catch that gets you comfortably back and forth from Devon to Paddington in the hours of daylight, including time to wander round a few museums and have a leisurely lunch, where you can find a nice seat in a quiet carriage with apparently very few other passengers.

Ha, I did wonder about the travelling back and forth from London to Devon, I thought it was a fair journey on the train, and roads too, but they seemed to be doing it in a couple of hours

It is naff but have enjoyed every minute of it. A museum curator with a hefty inheritance. Only slightly jealous

@StrawberryGoo - the daughter is probably the least irritating, but (I don't want to do any spoilers) she then says something to someone who's VERY significant in her life and immediately does the exact opposite! I'd be showing her the door.

I’ve just finished watching the last one. And come on this just to say they’re a hardy lot aren’t they? Al fresco dining in winter and yes the short sleeved blouse, although the timeline is a bit confusing.

I quite liked it, despite it's obvious problems. Lots of stereotyping going on despite it supposedly trying to make the point that stereotyping is wrong. I liked Julia and Benjamin as characters. Beautifully shot too.

I'm also guilty of binge watching! Absolutely loved it. I have to say I did work out what was going on towards the end but it didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. Had to stay up late last night to watch the last episode!!
