I just want to scream at Julia to wake up and run for the hills. There is no chemistry between them.
He also looks like the murderer Jamie Dornan played in The Fall, which doesn't help garner sympathy from me.
I didnt know the eldest son's wife in rl was an actress. I've seen her do a presenting job about really expensive b&bs all over the world. She's a natural.

So Ben took the blame for his brother so isn’t a killer

She knows Ben wanted to marry her for money But she’s fine with that as he makes her happy after an Abusive relationship with ex

I wondered it if was a double bluff. Ben was actually the killer. But once his brother realised there wouldn't then be a marriage, and so not be in the loop of rich life style and money, he then pretended he was the killer.

This is partly because as said upthread he looked like that terrible killer in The Fall.

And that there will be a second series when poor Julia realises she has been tricked, but by then new brother in law and son will be in sucessful business partnership.

I thought the ex husband was horribly realistic, and Julia talking about how it hadn't saved the children to try and ignore / hide the domestic violence was very chilling. (The younger son needed a good talking to)

Did we discover who wrote Patrick the note that said they knew he was having an affair? I was distracted at that point when they were talking about it.
