Equal measures of heh ! then awe at the eloquence of some of these children and wow at their baking skills. Puts my baking skills to shame

Those kids are amazing!

It's lovely. The judges are great, so encouraging. Liam is fantastic with kids, so natural. The kids are lovely and all seem to be having a blast so far!

Reece to win so far I think. He’s so calm!

Reece is amazing and agree, just so calm. These kids are very talented.

I'm loving all the terrible bakes, I feel bad for laughing but there are some brilliant disasters. I love that they seem like kids with most bakes not mini adults.

I do think CeCe should have gone home after the trifle, she's probably second to Reece in ability but she really had a trifle disaster (and undercooked pancakes) and the little girl who went, seemed to have done well with all her components, even if the final piece was a bit muddled (looked exactly like a kids dream trifle).

I was surprised she went. She did do pretty well. Reece is fab.

I loved it when the first contestant went out. Liam was trying to cheer him up and said, "when you get home spend lots of time playing on your PlayStation. Do you have a PlayStation?" "No," replied contestant. Liam said, "well spend lots of time on your hobby them. What's your hobby?" A dejected little voice said, "baking."

Rc22 I missed that! So funny. Classic moment in today’s episode : ‘ pistachio and rosewater are strong flavours so I think Rav must have a strong tongue’.

I wish they'd give them enough time that they don't need to cool cakes in the freezer.

It's really unfair that they have to try and reach up to get at the freezer section - it feels as though they've been set up to fail because inevitably they'll drop the cakes. They're too small to reach!

Yes - I was wondering why they don’t give the little ones steps. I was also wondering if the judges mind tasting all the stuff that’s been rolling round the floor!

Love Bake Off but honestly who the hell thought Harry Hill was a good choice. Hes bloody awful. Hes not funny & most of the time the kids haven't a clue what the hell hes talking about.

Oh, I love Harry Hill! DH and I really look forward to watching this, it's our little treat every afternoon. The kids are so funny and adorable. I wish it d been so confident and articulate and talented when I was their age.

I was saying to DH yesterday about how fantastic Liam is and how this role is absolutely perfect for him.

I also think Liam is really good on this. He's on the wavelength of the kids but also gives out really great technical advice and critiques. I'm sure Rav is good, but she massively reminds me of one of my lecturers who was, to be frank, a bit of a bitch. So I can't warm to her, but it's hardly her fault!

I think Harry is good on this. He's kind of like the kids' wacky uncle who is silly all the time, and it's taken as read that they are a bit befuddled or , lol.

Was impressed by Zak. And I thought the other boy from Leeds was funny, big character. Hope he stays in!

I love the way Harry and Liam are with the kids, Harry makes terrible jokes, most of which (luckily) go over the kids heads, but he is also lovely at geeing them along if they are a bit worried.

Liam is just adorable, like the best big brother, fun uncle ever.

I like the way they really challenge the kids, I know some find it harder than others but they mostly rise to the occasion. And by choosing unusual bakes for the technical it means the kids haven’t had the chance to over practice.

Just googled Shaka Shaka window bakery. I am mega impressed, hope he pulls it off!

My dd was saying the older kids really do not like his humour, but the younger ones just love it. I think Naima summed it up really well last night, and she is one of the younger ones. The word poo is funny when you are five and still funny when you are 10!

We are enjoying this series much more than the normal bake off, especially the last series. It is much kinder, and more about the bakes. All the kids are amazing.

I thought Maddie was a bit ungracious today when Zach helped her - she didn’t even thank him!

Zach seems so lovely with helping the others as well as being an outstanding baker.

The older ones yesterday were really not finding Harry at all funny.
