Equal measures of heh ! then awe at the eloquence of some of these children and wow at their baking skills. Puts my baking skills to shame

I think Liam is great as a judge and i'm liking him a lot more than I did his baking show where he was a bit too excitable. He's giving great feedback to the kids and his technical challenges for them are brilliant.

I love how the kids give back to Harry, he's great at distracting them from stress and disaster.

How can I put this... Is anyone else a bit 🤔 about the use of pronouns and name of one of the contestants... I'm convinced they are identifying as something other than their sex. If no one knows who I might be referring to then I am wrong.

I’ll admit that had passed me by, MrsJamin , though I do usually notice these things. Is it someone who’s still in the competition? Now you’ve said it I’m starting to wonder. I do really notice that the adults are very obviously not allowed to touch any of the kids (though Liam did put a consoling hand on Kian’s shoulder yesterday, which was very noticeable given the previous lack of contact).

I like Harry Hill in this, I think he and the contestants have a great ‘who is this slightly baffling geezer’ vibe going now, which is funny. At one point when an eviction had been announced, he and Pru shared a lovely look that summed up everything about being parents and the amazingness (not a word but ykwim) of children. Fin and Vaughan melt my heart.

I think Tom W is adorable,I keep expecting him to be sent packing and cheer when he gets a reprieve to fight another day, but actually I think they're all lovely with each other and their parents must be very proud of how encouraging and supportive they've all been.

One of dd's friends went on junior bake-off a couple of years ago. Her cakes are truly amazing, I don't know many adults who could bake that well.

Really pleased Aleena did better again today - she’s great.

I WOULD watch it more but the ad breaks are soooo long and incredibly annoying.

Just watched the final and it was really good . Such a likeable bunch of kids .

I always record it and watch it later so I can ff through the ads. Final was great!

Harry Hill has been so irritating throughout this series, you can see them cringing when he's interrupting their baking!

They are all very good. Was it this series or last years when a girl called burnt by caramel. she carried on but that must have received medical attention.

I agree that it came down to the final showstopper. I think Eliza was probably the best baker overall and thought she would win but I guess Finns cake must have just edged it.

I agree that Eliza was the better and more consistent baker. She deserved to win.

I couldn't believe Eliza didnt win. She was consistently good

I hope if there's another series they drop that buffoon Harry Hill and ger a good host for it

The rainbow cake looked beautiful.

Loved the little girl not allowed sweets taking the opportunity to make a sweet themed fantasy cake.

Yes me! Another lovely bunch of youngsters. Rees and the blond boy whose name I’ve forgotten are ones to watch.
