The Wembley show used to happen when Strictly was filmed at the old BBC Television Centre and they needed the studio that Strictly used for Children in Need.

Now Strictly is filmed at Elstree and Im not sure where Children in Need is filmedm but obviously Wembley isnt needed now.

@Awrite I don't know if it's the same for South Africans, but as a Kiwi there is no difference in my accent between Kelvin and Calvin and I can't hear it at all when others say it. DH has spent ages trying to teach me the difference between Alice and Ellis; as far as I'm concerned they're pronounced exactly the same.

Just watching on catch-up. Loved Gio & Michelle but goodness do the wardrobe and hair people hate her?! Kelvin and Oti also great fun.

The main thing that stuck out to me though was that Alex was literally unable to look Neil in the face. Did anyone else notice that? Have they had a falling out? Was she disappointed that KFG had to stand aside?!

Anyone watching the Remembrance Festival? The dancing (alongside Jeff Goldblum and orchestra) was gorgeous... would love to see the Strictly dancers doing a bit more of this again.

I was at Blackpool at half term. DS thinks the pros are going to be as cold as he was, bless. The Ballroom had a big earth globe installaton in it which I assume will be taken down by Saturday.

God, was it really Famke Jansen? DH said it looked like her but I dismissed him awful plastic surgery!

I thought Saffron looked a little unstable a couple of times but it was an undeniably good dance.

Craig was ridiculously harsh on Karim. Yes it wasn't great but it was worth more than a 6!
