Something went wrong with the lift for sure. As much as I enjoy watching Mike he spends too long standing still on 2 feet not moving to still be in at this stage

Yes!! I’m bemused. Katya dances around Mike, Emma was moving well to a tough dance routine and was a far, far better technical dancer. What’s going on??

I'm not saying I disagree that Mike isn't a dancer, but Emma's samba was awful! It was slow, it lacked bounce and the essence of the carnival vibe.

My dds are both ballroom and Latin dancers. The eldest hadn't seen Saturdays show (at her dad's) and watched the results show with me and she called it straightaway. Mike's, in her opinion, wasn't a bad Charleston. She said that it actually looked like a Charleston whereas Emma's samba didn't look like a samba. the opinions of a 9 yr old

I do think Mike's time.is up though! Bless him. Been saying that for weeks though....

Mike being saved was a shocker!
However, I loved Chris Ramsey's dance.
He was fab.

I think the samba it's such a tricky dance. I thought that Mike should go too, but he'll probably be off next week.

Countess Emma was in the dance off a few weeks ago and saved when she shouldn't have been. She has improved a bit but I'm glad she has gone. Did you see how pathetic she was when eliminated? Talk about being a very sore loser. Clearly the Countess is used to having her own way and can't take a knock. It was pathetic.

That was Katya's error. She was meant to land on his back but didn't position herself right and fell off. Bruno commented on it when he gave his reasons for keeping them in.

Mike made fewer errors in the dance off. The one error was Katya's and this time his swivels were better. Emma's samba was floppy and really weak technically. They made the right choice.

Mike has more enthusiasm and is actually quite good for a non dancer.
I always found Emma boring.

Emma's very pretty and graceful which is why she looked okay. But her technique was far too limp. Agree it was Katya who messed up on the back thing not Mike in the dance off.

I thought that Bliss. An absolute dream when things are going well for her, but a nightmare when they aren't.

I don't think I'd like to work for her.

Now just need rid of Mike (dreadful - so bad there's not even entertainment value, though he seems a lovely man) and Saffron (boooooriiing - technically very able, but hideously bland) and we can enjoy the rest.

Emma looked liked Alijaz was moving her about the dancefloor and the dance was really basic. I agree that Mike isn't much of a dancer but his Charleston was good. I also think she was a bit of a bad loser.

Anyone else wondering how many votes Emma B must have got to get through? Hopefully enough to put Shirley back in her
bitchy box

Not a fan of Emma W’s, but she looked as though she was desperately trying not to cry.
I thought she did better in the DO, but sambas are very tricky and she couldn’t get the bounce right. Mike’s at least was recognisable as a Charleston. And the mistake was Katya’s not his.
A different dance for each of them and the result would have been very different.
He should be out next week though.

Mike's endlessly promoted on BBC Breakfast. Bloody dreadful

Think the judges hands are tied when they have to decide on the dance off only.

I think Mike would have preferred to go after last weeks media storm. He is the last weak link, he should go next week.

I see alijaz has had a few main pieces to dance to today. Wonder if that's cause they thought Emma would go?
I don't think they film the pro dances in the order they're shown. I went to the live show once and if I remember rightly, they did both pro dances at the start of the day. Loved Aljaz in his feathers and sunnies!

I was gutted for Emma. The really sweet thing was that what she seemed most upset about was that she might have let Aljaz down. I don't think it was about her ego at all.

Mike wasn't really very good. The overmarking will backfire soon: he'll be in the DO again but this time against someone who they will have to save over him.
