Are we absolutely sure that's the real Artem? He's being very complimentary and smiley, I remember him being quite different.

Artem was unexpectedly bounced out of the DWTS show at very late notice this year, he is available for work. Robin posted a photo of them both watching SCD on Saturday night.

I am always a lone voice on this point, but I prefer Tess to Claudia.

Why would he want to work here though? What about Nikki?
I thought him and Sharna (reigning champ with flame hair but nicer than Dianne's and Aliona's who was also given the boot) were going to do a show together?
DWTS have never really seen the best of Gleb or Artem. The pecking order was Derek/Mark or Val/Maks depending on who was on and they took a backseat to those four but even when we were only left with Val as top dog, they still never really got any obvious ringers.

I'm with you @ChicCroissant and would go so far as to say I like Tess!

@RageAgainstTheVendingMachine I adored Maks, Derek and Mark (have never seen DWTS with Val) - all way better to watch than Artem & gorgeous too! Maks in particular is pure sex just watching him!

Wish they showed DWTS on TV in the UK!

I watch all the videos as they are released each week on youtube although I miss Tom as compere that way and I love him. Youtube did have a live stream but I am usually asleep by then.
My favourite season of Mark Ballas was with Lindsay Sterling. I do think he should have had an Emmy for some of his choreo.

Maks is arrogant but his chemistry with Meryl has never been bettered (total fauxmance showmance btw - she was used to faking that with Charlie but had actually been loved up with her coach's son iirc for years).
Val - Valentin - Maks's brother - has been a pro since 2011. Done some amazing routines, my favourites were with Rumer Willis and Normani although I also liked Zendaya and Danica.

I think Tess is fine. I think Claudia's role is "easier" in that she has time to chat to everyone whereas Tess has time for a couple of sentences at most. She probably has to be bland and impartial as she's before the judge's comments and votes.

I thought this too, maybe he's mellowed. I never warmed to him like the other pros, but actually last night I thought I could now if he came back.

What do you think the chances of him coming back are?

Sometimes I think Tess is alright and then she says something like "ooooh look at the tears running down your little face" To a crying contestant or pro. Then I get irrational rage against her

Talk about emotional UNintelligence, I feel sorry for her children or nieces and nephews if she has any.

The 'look at your little face' stuff is unending and seems to be the ONLY way she can think of to talk to people. She's so fake, as opposed to Claudia who is genuinely warm and communicative. Tess was just as shit when she used to do Claudia's job, as I remember.

I'd like Claudia and Zoe Ball to co-present. They could alternate who was on the floor and who was up in the Clauditorium with the dancers. I think it'd be a hoot and a half.

I really don't mind Tess at all. I hate reading people slag her outfits week in week out especially as she likely has no say in what she's wearing. Also, I think Ive only noticed a couple of patronising sounding comments just this past episode but never before!
Think she gets a lot of stick over nothing.

Hore She generally talks over the applause, I definitely have heard those sort of remarks before, she says things like "well done" first then she becomes personal. Not in comforting way either.

The dancers used to have water when they finished, she'd be better off organising that than trying, and failing , to say something pleasant.

Oh and ref. the dresses dsis used to work in the BEEB light entertainment, dpartment and the presenters were bought rails of outfits to choose from

If you're in the spotlight I should think you'd have to be used to criticism. I'm quite happy to say when her dress is nice. Which it is sometimes

But maybe she picks the best from a bunch of crap?
Maybe she doesn't have time to let applause finish. And maybe a producer is screaming in her ear. I can't get worked up about it!

I don't mind Tess at all, apart from the "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, your little face" moments, which make me want to vom. Generally I think she does a good job of keeping things moving along, and she probably helps the contestants feel better after the judges have given them a drubbing.

Her clothes have been MUCH better this season. The only thing I haven't really liked was the pink jumpsuit from Sunday night, but I am opposed to jumpsuits on anyone older than 18 months.

I usually don't hate Tess' frocks. She has a great figure. I tend to prefer them to Clauds goth chic which you can never really see the detail of.

I do loathe her asymmetric jumpsuits though....

Claudia is styled by Sinead McKeefrey who shows the looks on Instagram. There's a surprising amount of Warehouse and TopShop mixed in with the expensive stuff. But no pics of Tess so maybe she has a different stylist altogether? Seems odd to have 2, but maybe they had historical relationships with stylists from before they became co-hosts.

I do think that she's a bit of a fashion victim and when one is right up to the minute with one's fashions one often looks a fool. Then 2 years later most people are wearing it. Not me though By the time my clothes are in fashion it's their 2nd time or 3rd time round !! I'm glad that Fast Fashion is out now !!!!!!!

I did really like her dress the other week — sweetheart neckline, very thin vertical stripes of all different colours.

I think sometimes the high-necked ones just don't do much for her boobs? And because she's tall there's a lot of material if you don't think it looks good!
