I thought the whole ‘celebratory’ feel if that episode was too far for EE. It was like back to the public announcements time and today’s lesson was be proud and homosexuality is not something to hide. In years to come, people will look at it and possibly talk about ‘gtoundbreaking’ Times and possibly use EE as a timeline (as we do with HIV) when really being gay is very accepted, gay rights are more equal than ever before. Of course there are some opposed to it but sone people opposed to everything - hopefully more a generational thing.

I agree^^. As I was watching it, particularly the scene in the pub with Whitney talking about her left hook and everything that followed I thought it felt like “and they all lived happily ever after” movie. The sort teen girls are into. Rather than gritty east end pub soap Grin

Oh no! I’m gutted! I was really enjoying he party feel of that in Vic. After all the rubbish story lines later thought something good.

That was a bit weird the way they did that. It didn’t really work. It would have worked better if they did the duff duffs at her drinking the water and then new episode with dawn rising and discovery. Also- are we to believe no-one missed bex from her own party and Sonia didn’t check on her before going to bed herself?

Sonya really has lost the run of herself and wasn’t paying any attention to bex at all since she started doing her A levels. She was just totally carried away with the idea of her daughter going to oxford with no thought to whether it’s what bex wanted.

You will laugh even more when I tell you I had to google who Adrian Edmondson was. I have never watched The Young Ones or Bottom. I know who Jennifer Saunders is though, you'll be relieved to know :).

I liked tonight's episode.

If Kirsty lived in Wales, shouldn't she have some sort of Welsh accent.

Its annoying that EE never has British accents other than Cockney.
