Starting this one in anticipation.

If we hadn't have been too slow (much faffing abaaaaht pausing the show to get drinks etc) we would have voted for Michelle, Karim and Emma the Viscountess (the last one was more because Aljaz is our favourite).
I have a funny feeling that James and David will get a lot of votes and avoid the dance off.
Feel a bit sorry for Mike Bushell being forced to be the comedy turn, I don't think he would be that bad, given the chance. The choreography was just awful.
Though Johannes is fantastic, I think he out-danced Catherine this week to the point that I wasn't watching her at all.

God Johannes is amazing. I barely looked at Catherine, tbh. How can any celeb live up to him?

Very pleased Michelle is versatile. She was properly wafty and very expressive in the face too. Shes definitely in my Top 3. And yeah, with Ru Paul I definitely meant tuck in the "gaffer tape" sense, lol. Monkseal also recaps RPDR and practically gives an ovation whenever Ru turns up in a sequinned jumpsuit that requires the effort of tucking. He's probably down to once a year, lol. Don't bloody blame him at his age.

Alex's dress was a crime. How did they manage to give her a spare tyre??? I keep forgetting she's in the competition. 🤔 I think she just doesn't have that much charisma or something. I keep forgetting her existence, which isn't good. She needs a Nan. Or a "journey". Or a fab Mum.

Speaking of Mums, how lovely was Karims? I wanted her to be my mum! And Kelvins Nan - she must be a right celebrity round her way with a grandson in Emmerdale. My mother in law would die and go to heaven if one of her grandkids was in it. Thered be no living with her after that. She has it series linked! 😂

I'm really undecided on Emma. I'm just not seeing any evidence of "ringahhness" at all. She's properly average.

Good point that we don't see much footage of Anton bossing them about, which is kinda wierd. But his celebs always absolutely gush about his kindness and patience so he must be nice to them and he must be actively training them.

But I don't think Emma is going to get to Blackpool at all, tbh.

And as for Emma W.... Bless her, she really tried to be ferocious and have lots of attack. I think she did OK, tbh. She just couldn't keep up with him but it's only week 2.

I suspect she's one of those Yoga girls who are super bendy but have zero cardio fitness, lol.

I thought it was a bit early for Kelvins Nan but maybe she is a huge strictly fan i do like a nan though. Saffron brought her whole family and sunday lunch which AJ didn't eat (too carby) and I can't warm to her at all.

If Saffron does one more fucking selfie I swear to God. 🤬

Chris Ramseys house is lovely. If anyone's nosy (like me) , his wife Rosie did some before and after photos of their kitchen in her Instagram a while back. It was properly old fashioned when they bought it, they knocked through and did a fab job on it. She's @rosemarinoramsay or something similar, I don't follow her but from my lurking she seems ace.

I saw that A Js plate still looked full when everyone else had ate it all. ( probably the reason I'm fat and he isn't !) I'm not keen on Saffron but she will get the support from the youngsters I guess.

I had to goggle Alex as I couldn't remember who she was at first!! She's not bad, but the bigger personalities are the overshadowing her a bit. Chris's outfit was terrible.
Karim was my favourite this week.

Oh I had Kitchen envy it was lovely maybe Rosie wanted to show the nation her new kitchen

Chris Ramsey seems a nice bloke and it was a lovely house/ kitchen and a cute son as well. His a lucky man.
I think he'll improve as time moves on.

They had a miscarriage last year, poor things, she was very open about it as she believed it should be talked about more. They were gutted. 🙁

It didn't help that Alex's VT seemed to have so much Michelle in it 🤔

Emma B is distinctly average isn't she? That foxtrot looked clunky and she seemed to spend most of it trying to catch up with Anton. And then to have Karim and Amy's to follow which was smooth, stylish and gorgeous highlighted its flaws even more.

We had friends round last night and DH & his mate talked all over it .

I'm going to rewatch when he goes out in a bit.

I am convinced that the reason celebs end up with a comedy dance routine is to hide their flaws - I've never seen a good dancer get lumbered with the comedy turn, it is always trying to disguise the less talented dancer. Anton, unfortunately, has had more than his fair share of the less talented participants.

Having said that, nothing can beat Nancy Dell'Olio sitting up in that coffin for me.

I voted for Dev and Karim.

James or David probably need to go tonight.

I was baffled by the praise for Will. I thought he was planky and stiff. All the 'hip' stuff Craig was raving about –all I saw was him planting his feet and thrusting his pelvis in the revolting way they always make the male slebs do when they're hopeless.

I liked Michelle. Amy and whatisname are cute together. He must be a ringer, surely?
