Starting this one in anticipation.

Elspeth, I know! Anton can't really do Latin and doesn't seem to like it, so he always does comedy Latin which isn't ever that funny

His samba with Ruth was a joy I loved it.

Was that the 'Shady Dame from Seville'? I agree, it was deathless.

So Alex is going to be Moana for movie week, doing the rumba, presumably Neil will be Maui?

I don't like movie week as some of the music choices are not suited to the dance style.
I am not looking forward to Austin Powers or Moana dances!

I think the producers dont seem to realise that the dances without gimmicks and without silly music are the ones that do well.

I think with Len gone and Darcey gone, the dynamic of the show has got so much better. Just need Anton gone (easily replaced with Gorka or Graziano) and the show will be better than ever.

I don't mind Anton, although I do think Gorka is sweet (Graziano is just too cheesy IMO, sorry). I miss Darcey too. I liked the way she used to talk about the partnering; she was very perceptive and it was a good additional take on the dancing. I do like Motsi but she's a bit loud and OTT; it feels a bit like watching the American Dancing With the Stars.

Re the lighting, it’ll all be LED now as opposed to the tungsten halogen of ten to fifteen years ago. They’re probably pulling less power per show now than when they first started because of that.

A rumba to a Moana song?! WTAF. There is not a single song that is suitable!

Although maybe Shiny, since it's Tamatoa's love song to himself.

Loved seeing Flavia on ITT. She should have her own section with Rylan every week

Yes! Zoe gives me a headache, she's far too frantic and earnest. It's a weird combination!

I loved Flavia too, she slightly fudged the truth about Katya's shenanigans though. DH said is she short or is Rylan soooo tall !!! I enjoyed him not pretending to know anything about "The Dance dahling"

The song choices do sound very dodgy indeed, but then I've (occasionally) been wrong in the past about slating songs beforehand. Charles Venn's Charleston to No Diggity was pretty good despite my expectations.

I just told my husband (massive Pokemon fan) about the Pokemon paso & he just burst out laughing.

I doubt any of us will be laughing come SATURDAY. 😫

Never mind the Pokemon, is anyone else nervous about Mike Bushell doing a song from Magic Mike? I know I criticised his costume last week but I'd like him to be wearing one.
