Just asked this on chat. Anyone else had problems with Amazon fire stick constantly freezing and buffering on saying have low bandwidth? All my other streaming on other devices is fine. Apparently I have good connectivity and speed. It's very frustrating!

Re Courier he's quite strange bloke. My dad reminded me that he used to read inspirational letters/poetry at change of ends when playing . I think he thinks he's quite the intellectual!

I think JC is the sort of person who would corner you at a party and talk you to death (not that I go to those type of parties or any parties really!) He's got quite a monotonous voice but he is quite easy to tune out!

I also lost interest in tennis during the JC/PeteSampras/Chang era - I just found them very dull.

Zverev was doing OK but not so good in the second set. It sounds as if he’s got his management problems sorted out now so that’s good - he can concentrate on his tennis.

It looks very hot in NY.

Sascha could have done with an easier opponent really. He could be at risk against Tiafoe now.

And Stan has won a set.

So that's good.

I am starting to wonder if I will get to see Rafa at all, if they keep scheduling him last in the night session.

Just googled and according to New York Times Courier was reading "Maybe the Moon" by Armistead Maupin at changes of ends because he "felt like it"

Sampras was dull. Even he didn't seem to be enjoying himself. He would come back from being a few points down on serve by just lobbing down massive aces. And sort of drag himself round the court sometimes. I know it was effective play but not entertaining.
