This is so much better than last year- but the problem is , the US heavy team involved in giving the prizes. They are hard wired to look pissed off if a non American wins. And a Canadian. Well....

The best match I ever saw was won by a Canadian Hearts. Milos Ranic beat Federer in the Wimbledon semifinals, I think it went to five sets. My mum and I had amazing seats in the ballot for that day and we cheered him on from the beginning. I bought he would have achieved much more in the game than he has.

I cringe when they hand the cheque over - who has time to pay cheques in these days!

At one point I thought they were just going to hand the winners trophy over to Serena and pretend that she’d actually won!

Raonic is , for me, one of the players who , recently have been unlucky . He was on the up in 2016- and it's all gone down hill since then. His nemesis was Murray. I have a lot of time for Milos, and felt sorry for him in the Wimbledon final, when his parents looked so lost. He has been plagued by injury, sadly.
