Sorry about giving you AC nightmares Grin

kazzaD66 · 27/08/2019 22:52

Probably took him weeks to grow fizzy

Not sure it's something Mirka would approve of either.

Did he have a bit of growth when he went camping with Bear Grylls? Hmm

kazzaD66 · 27/08/2019 22:57

I see Andy won in straight sets.

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 22:59

I think Rog has just been on a caravan holiday (unless that was a weird dream I had or something) so perhaps he CBA to shave while he was caravanning??!

Lol at Sascha running around trying to feed his dogs and do all his housework on his day off Grin - he's so busy he can only squeeze in 12 minutes of practice, the poor young feller Grin

kazza you can call me Private, I'll answer to anything Grin

Raahh · 27/08/2019 23:03

I like SpideyGrin

Fizzywinegum · 27/08/2019 23:04

Spidey I read about Roger’s caravan holiday as well so you didn’t imagine it Grin. Suspect it wasn’t anything like my caravan holidays as a child though!

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 23:10

Fizzy no mine neither, unless he was in a four berth caravan in Angelsey, playing I Spy and waiting for the rain to go off Grin

Thanks Raahh Grin

Fizzywinegum · 27/08/2019 23:12

I was in Mablethorpe listening to the rain on the caravan roof SadGrin

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 23:16

Grin Roger's was probably some beautiful location in the Alps or something

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 23:19

I see Tsitsipas, Thiem and RBA were all in Kyrgios' bit of the draw. Typical.

Raahh · 27/08/2019 23:21

Oh, I remember a caravan holiday to Anglesey when I was a kid.

It was horrendous. No heating, took us 4 days to find the crockery, and we left a day before we were meant to. Grin.

Meanwhile, my dad was in in Singapore (ok, he was was working, but still....Grin).

JaneJeffer · 27/08/2019 23:22

Well done Sascha. I'm so relieved. Poor Domi though.

Raahh · 27/08/2019 23:22

Spidey that is typical. I just hope he self-sabotages.

Which is not unheard of.

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 23:42

took us 4 days to find the crockery
Grin Grin

SaveSpidey · 27/08/2019 23:46

You never know. He plays Steve Johnson tonight so the crowd could we'll get involved/wind him up etc.

Rublev's looking good though isn't he - he's been playing well for a while (have obviously jinxed him now). Monfils is in that section as well and so are FAA and Shaggy. It'd be good to see Felix or Rublev get through.

Imagine if Delpo was there in that bit of the draw Sad

Btw he's playing at Delray beach again and they announced the date and time again Grin it's not until February or something!

Raahh · 27/08/2019 23:50

Spidey it really did - my gran was going nuts.

Grin

To this day, I can still smell calor gas.

Fizzywinegum · 28/08/2019 06:58

Loving all the caravan reminiscing Grin. The one that we went to you had to actually light the lights with a match and we had to go to a concrete toilet block It put me off caravans for life!

I think Roger was in the Alps with ample cutlery Smile

Pleased to see that Rafa is safely through, unfortunately so is Kyrgios.

Shaggy came through easily against Felix AA - they also seem to play each other a lot.

Roger is playing early evening our time so I’m going to check out the “beard”.

Fizzywinegum · 28/08/2019 06:59

That’s good news about Delpo Spidey - did they say what time he would be playing so we can start a countdown again? Grin

SaveSpidey · 28/08/2019 07:14

Fizzy yes indeed - Tuesday 18 Feb at 8pm!!

Honestly, it's so weird how they give such a specific time so far in advance!! I'm not sure if he's actually coming back before then, or if that's going to be his first tournament.

Great win for Rafa last night, that could have been a tricky first round. I saw a bit of it but I kept nodding off.

In the interview afterwards, he said he'd offered to lend Andy his boat while he's in Mallorca! Can't be bad - it's an upgrade from a caravan anyway!!

Am really surprised about Khachanov - would have been a great draw for him if he'd managed to win the first one. And Shaggy as well, I was expecting Felix to win that.

Tennis, eh?!
Tennis

Fizzywinegum · 28/08/2019 07:20

Yes I saw that Karen had gone out as well which was a bit of a surprise.

Maybe Rafa will lend me his boat next week Smile

SaveSpidey · 28/08/2019 08:14

Fizzy he'd be rude not to Grin

Fizzywinegum · 28/08/2019 08:30

I think so too Spidey Grin

kazzaD66 · 28/08/2019 08:34

Loving the caravans and boats musings Grin

I was surprised that Shapavalov beat FAA so easily.

I see Sloane Stephens is out aswell.

And yes, I definitely jinxed Tsonga Sad

Raahh · 28/08/2019 08:58

It was a bad night for the big names, certainly. I was surprised about Karen in particular.

SaveSpidey · 28/08/2019 09:30

So was I Raahh - when did Pospisil last win a GS match?! Shock
