I have always been a bit colour blind with blues and greens and I see the wives dresses on the programme as teal, and nothing like the colour on that link. Style is spot on !

Why is she walking like that? What have I missed/forgotten?! I know she was confined to the hospital and kneeling 24/7 last week, but she seemed physically fine then, I thought??

Why do the Waterfords continue to let her talk to them like that?

I find it odd that Fred speaks about commander Lawrence not being able to run a household after he has the whole issue with Eden and then June being "kidnapped" - surely rich of him to make digs like that

I don't know why June is so indulged. She was the only handmaid looking up during that scene. Aunt Lydia would have whacked her on the back of the head for that in the book. It's actually annoying me a bit how far they have gone from the sense of constant danger the book draws. The handmaid tells her they are constantly being watched yet June doesn't face consequences to her minor infractions.

What's with the ensure virility? Observed ceremonies?

And will June be forced to 'voluntarily' wear the ring?

Brillo she's walking like that as she wa confined to the hospital room, mostly on her knees (to pray) whilst the dead handmaid gestated her child.

How can Lawrence be such a bloody wuss when he invented the concept of handmaids and ceremonies etc?

Would he physically be able to go through with the ceremony? He appears obviously repulsed by the idea of it and his wife is weeping behind a curtain.

This rape seems a lot more awful than when it was the Waterfords despite the fact they treated June worse.

Maybe it's the humanity of it?
