Ben seems to only have a soft side for Callum. Everyone else he isn’t working an angle or just being a prick but with Callum he is almost humanlike

The Whitney storyline is really dark even for Eastenders. It could bring disturbing thoughts for some viewers who have suffered sexual abuse.
As a character she has had a tough time.
She is absolutely stunning.

I agree. She is being abused yet again whilst vulnerable. Wasn’t it Whitney that was caught up in some sort of sex ring where they had drugged the girls? She got away on time I think? What is it about soaps that just love writing about girls and women being sexually abused.

@JoxerGoesToStuttgart Yes the sex ring, previously she was in a fake relationship groomed by her step father and now this is his son back to abuse her.

I don’t see Whitney as beautiful usually but tonight she looked great. The abuser’s son storyline is very dark. Too dark. Where did Bianca go on hols? She is just out of prison. She was supposed to go with her estranged daughter who decided not to go so instead she went on hols on her own. No mention of her other children. Really?????

Not only can Ted go to Africa and Asia without visas and vaccinations, he can pack his entire life in a bag in half an hour. Photographs, paperwork, Joyce’s belongings, medical information all left behind. In real life he’d still be on hold to online banking in that time! But off he went in his knitted cardi to buy an airline ticket to Africa in the airport??? Or was he going on a cruise who absolutely wouldn’t take him without having all paperwork intact. The glib mention of the murder trial and insurance was, I think, the writers idea of ‘jaunty mystery’.

The scene between Halfway and Whitney (before she hold him about the fling) was very touching. I think Halfway does feelings very well. I remember having a relationship of sorts which ended but I still had feelings. Sitting opposite pretending everything was fine while trying not to cry - Halfway brought it all back home this evening.

Why do Ben and Halfway always have to kiss so violently btw? Is it supposed to be passion? Alcohol? They can’t seem to just kiss....
