It’s been a long 8 weeks!

Anna still seems so hurt by Jordan.

I think Anna's pride is hurt definitely! I still can't warm to her though! She was treated badly by Jordan for sure but her behaviour has been awful at times too!

What was the lizard thing (ovie) ?

I think it was Chris who brought up the conspiracy theory about high profile people, like the royals, actually being lizards. Ovie then enthusiastically explained how he’d watched videos of the theories.

I’m pissed off that Anton & Belle were even in the public vote. You can bet that if it had been Maura and Curtis who only got one vote from the islanders it would only have been down to the other 2 couples.

Ah right. Ovie is so nice. Chris was probably run favourite person of the lot I think. I could see him and Harley making a go of it.

Anyone know what the piano music was that was on when Anton & Belle we’re dumped? It’s so familiar but I can’t think what it’s called.

I don't think Maura was friends with Amy. Regardless of how Amy might be coming across since she left the villa, she was unpleasant when she was in it.

• Maura genuinely likes Curtis. He doesn't seem particularly into her. To be honest I feel Maura absolutely made the show since she went into it. It was so boring without her.

• Greg hasn't done anything to win. Before he went in, he said he liked Maura. He coupled with Amber because she was single. Amber went through a bad patch with Michael but she wasn't very nice in the villa either. Remember the cat calling at Maura who she hadn't even met at that stage?

• India is vanilla. What is the thing people are talking about reptilian with Ovie? Neither of them have made much of an impact on me but tbf Ovie seems ok.

• Molly Mae is fake. I don't believe she has much interest in Tommy. Maybe Tommy is too but at face value he really hasn't put a foot wrong in the villa. I just don't particularly want Molly Mae to win.

That was the first thing I clocked about MM mother - the snide 'joke' comments. Why on earth her mother would have indicated that there were negative comments about her from the public- is awful. Why put that in someone's head when you know they can't find anything out for several days. The 'jokes' were tripping off the tongue and all at MM expense.

Curtis dad also made a few snide remarks- the first thing he said as 'you are looking as bad as ever'. Lovely when you are being filmed 24/7.

I have ITV hub on Sky but can't find the old seasons on there or when I look up ITV hub on the iPad. Help!!!!!!

I picked up on the parents, not only the snide comments but also the look at me! ness of some of them

Re ITV Hub - I searched Love Island and over 200 episodes come up. Then have to scroll back through each season to get to the one you want.

I'm looking forward to the final. We are team Amber and Greg in our house.

It wasn't amber though, that's why she got so annoyed when Michael accused her of shouting down off the balcony, she didn't shout anything. It was lucie & MM.

I’m actually looking forward to the winter one, will be something to watch while we’re in the depths of winter. Did wonder if it would be a ski resort/ log cabin type winter one but seeing as it’s set in S.Africa I guess not!

I also loved what Maura's mammy said about Curtis. It was cleverly worded, can't remember exactly, but got the message across - nah, love. Without having to say it. Brilliant.

I agree with everything SlipperOrchid said. Especially the fact that Maura made the show this year. Had she have left I think a lot of people wouldn’t have bothered watching anymore....and the producers were fully aware of this.
Without a doubt she’ll get a presenting piece on This Morning or some other ITV show.

@RonnieScotts MM wasn't cat calling on the balcony. She was practically the only girl not doing it!

@popfan from what I remember, Anna, Yewande and to some extent Amber did the catcalling.

@AngeloMysterioso that's exactly what I said to DH. Anton and Belle shouldn't have been in the bottom three with their one vote compared to the other couples' two. I'd have voted for them to win, now I am not really bothered! I have no idea who to vote for...if I vote at all now!

Yes, it's not what it was, is it? Role of producers (not scripting, but manipulating) much more obvious. Choice of what was shown often too uninteresting.

And yes, I understand enough about how reality shows works. I'm not expecting moon-on-a-stick. But prefer the standards of previous years to the ones the producers chose this time.

And yes, Anton/Belle should not have been put to the vote.

Will I watch the final - probably. Will I watch it with enthusiasm as something to look forward to? No. Will I be multitasking and only half watching - almost certainly.
