Thanks for the thread. Looking forward to reading all the comments, once I've watched.

Checking in Grin

Currently watching DS perform baby yoga in his cot rather than go to sleep. As soon as he’s asleep I’m downstairs to watch it.

Destinysdaughter · 21/07/2019 20:58

Signing in. V curious to see what ( if anything ) will happen tonight...

Roussette · 21/07/2019 21:05

oh heck, I hate these violent bits

LovelyCocksReg · 21/07/2019 21:12

Missed the beginning! What happened?

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 21/07/2019 21:15

I missed the first 5 minutes - what happened?

Chocrock · 21/07/2019 21:17

What did the commanders say at the end?

Destinysdaughter · 21/07/2019 21:18

Handmaids forced to participate in a public hanging

Destinysdaughter · 21/07/2019 21:19

Something about it being expedient if Nicole stays in Canada as it gives them leverage?

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 21/07/2019 21:22

George said there is leverage with the baby. What did he mean?

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 21/07/2019 21:22

How is June back home when Fred and Serena are still in DC?

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 21/07/2019 21:23

Also, why does she want Mrs Lawrence out of the house?

Roussette · 21/07/2019 21:23

I didn't get that bit

Roussette · 21/07/2019 21:24

June can walk with Mrs Lawrence and that way go to the school I imagine. A good front

TeaStory · 21/07/2019 21:24

June isn’t part of the Waterford household, she didn’t travel up with them and she lives with the Lawrences. She isn’t needed in DC any more.

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 21/07/2019 21:26

Thanks @TeaStory and @Roussette

DrinkReprehensibly · 21/07/2019 21:26

Looks like June traveled back with aunt Lydia

cyclingwith3 · 21/07/2019 21:31

Putting Mrs Laurence at risk of being discovered as mentally ill isn’t exactly going to curry favour with commander Laurence is it... new level of stupid

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 21/07/2019 21:34

Oh FFS!

As if they wouldn’t immediately arrest June for being round the side of the school. No way would they fetch her for Mrs Lawrence and a guardian start explaining to a handmaid what she was doing. No fucking way. This is so far detached from the handmaids tale, it’s unrecogniseable.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 21/07/2019 21:36

And no way would they call June “Miss”. This is pure bollocks.

Becles · 21/07/2019 21:37

June has really stopped caring who she's hurting or allies she's alienating for a short sighted glimpse of her daughter.

Is she actually in her right mind at the moment?

Invisimamma · 21/07/2019 21:38

We have a storm and I'm.missing big chunks of dialogue due to dodgy TV signal.

June certainly does seem to be getting away with a lot this series!! Series 1 she would've been on the wall a few episodes ago.
