We are watching on Channel 4, UK pace and have only seen episodes 1 - 6 so far.

Did anyone using subtitles pick up what June said at the hanging, just one or two words, before she left?

Checking in to read at a more reasonable hour.

There are a lot of unanswered q's. Surely if the treachourous HM that shopped the Martha has ALydia's ear, she only has to tell her that June attacked her and that's that?

At the school, I just don't get how June can wander off. In the first series she would just have to stand at the entrance and wait. Not wander all round the school walls.

Can anyone give me a theory on why the Mackenzies have gone? Don't get the relevance to anything from last night's episode.

I think it’s to hide Hannah from June. Now they know she’s still trying to reach her.

It must be common knowledge june was at the school and the martha would have been questioned about June's interactions with hannah. Im guessing the family have moved to where june cant find them.

Maybe cause June has prooved herself fertile her punishment was to kill the martha but that still feels like gilead is being tame

Which is ridiculous. They'd just do away with June, like they did with the Martha.

Morning all. I have nothing much to add really as I agree with the consensus on here. The way this season is turning out is so disappointing! I'm only watching because I'm invested (the sunk costs fallacy - ha) and not because it's any good.

@EtonM3ss Moira killed a commander when she escaped from Jezebel's at the end of season one. You saw her in the bathroom getting ready then slipped what looked like some sort of home made implement up her sleeve. Next shot you see her getting in the the commanders car and driving away with blood on her hands.

The thing is, in Series 1, there was never any questions. You knew what had happened, why, who etc. In this series I keep losing the plot!

It's all just slow-mo and spectacle. That stupid dance scene!

Very disappointed with this series so far, we are half way through and nothing has really happened. I think maybe that Emily and Moira will get close and then Emily will be returned to Gilead in a bargaining agreement in return for Nicole staying, and will be hanged as a warning against trying to escape? And then Serena will flip when she realised Fred was stringing her along? But who knows, if things keep going how they are June might just wake up and realise it's all a dream Dallas style 😐

So much has already happened to June to reach rock bottom though.

Maybe some body parts or an eye needs to go.

She's got it easy at the Lawrence's, they have been astoundingly kind to her and she talks to them like shit. Surely she should be cherishing them in that cold world and making herself indispensable?

I half expected the dance scene to be in Serena's frustrated imagination.

I meant to add that the wives were having quite a raunchy conversation when Serena found them. They were leering at the waiters - probably all quite frustrated.

@Kenny33 I have no idea what interview you are referring to, I hadn’t heard a thing about it until you posted your spoiler! Any information about anything that hasn’t happened in the episodes which have already appeared on C4 is a spoiler, no matter who says it and in what circumstances. It doesn’t make it not a spoiler just because someone involved in the show said it!

Yes but it wasn’t aired in the show. Some of us are only watching the show and deliberately avoid all other references to the handmaids take on TV or social media. How is that difficult for you to understand? We are only discussing what has been aired in the show It’s very clear in the title and the OP.
