New thread, no spoilers, it makes the spoiler thread feel obsolete.

Paul said memo!!!

Smidge001 · 02/09/2019 22:17

I kind of thought he did a half baked memo vs meemo, like he didn't want to offend the aussies by saying meemo but he knew it was stupid and wanted to say it they way it should be said. Either that or it's some sort of in joke with the actors.
(coz I don't want anything to put me off him, coz Paul is the best Grin)

Smidge001 · 02/09/2019 22:21

I was so shocked they said the word twice in as many days I think maybe they got him to say it to put right the awful cock up that was meemo the other day Grin. Maybe the whole production team were taking the piss and saying the world will now think we all say meemo, and made Paul say it properly to try to make everyone forget Grin

Clawdy · 02/09/2019 23:04

Yay! An episode without the supremely annoying Roxy.

SleepingStandingUp · 03/09/2019 09:52

Flipping meemo

Seeing Paul in civvies is so odd, he doesn't look right in anything but a suit

GoneToTheDock · 03/09/2019 18:54

What was going in with the hair up in towels in the spa? It was obviously dry, and how was Terese having a facial with all that makeup on???

Smidge001 · 03/09/2019 22:20

Could anyone make out what the '3 words' were that yashvi and Harlow said about one of their teachers? I played it twice but couldn't make it out.

I'm so glad Paul and therese told the ex wives where to shove it, and ran off to get married. But yes, Paul in a hawaiian shirt really seemed odd.

Loved Paul sending that text at the end Grin

walkingtheplank · 03/09/2019 22:22

Nice bow-tie Sir - or words to that effect.

MiddleClassProblem · 03/09/2019 22:36

The mention of emergency engagement rings. Don’t they realise they are at Mark’s house?

Also found it odd with Amy and Leo saying it’s how many wives Paul had had being weird when neither of their mums make the list.

He definitely has a think for brunettes...

Also I think Rebecca has been awesome.

SpanishFly · 03/09/2019 22:55

Are we really not going to see them get married?? 😭

walkingtheplank · 04/09/2019 01:30

Rebecca was my favourite. Would be great to have her back. I guess she's going to hook up with Gary before she goes - yuk!

MiddleClassProblem · 05/09/2019 14:14

Very distracted by the hair stuck to Mark’s stubble in the keys scene

MotherOfSoupDragons · 05/09/2019 15:14

Having to FFWD through Harlow's scenes now. Why did they make her such a bitch? Sigh.

MiddleClassProblem · 05/09/2019 15:55

And why would she ask Roxy to do the weeding? It’s an odd chore for a teenager to request. I doubt it’s Her responsibility...

SleepingStandingUp · 05/09/2019 16:57

Ye ah never seen anyone do any chores but apparently it's all the new Nieces job

Flashinggreen · 05/09/2019 18:12

@MiddleClassProblem yes me too! Wanted someone to brush it off his cheek

woodhill · 05/09/2019 18:35

Why doesn't Roxy tell Mark about the blackmail.

Soap operas thrive on this tedium

MrsSteveMcDonald · 05/09/2019 18:53

Roxy and Mark feels like it should be very wrong but somehow I don't think it is. I didn't notice the hair, had to rewind and look for it.

Harlow has an annoying voice, she doesn't seem to have any life in her.

Mackenzie is annoying me already, it feels like any story he's in will be brought around to him

Walney · 05/09/2019 20:08

I would say the opposite and that Mackenzie is the first new character I've liked in a long time, hoping Neighbours handle the story well. Having Suzan as her friend is definitely a good idea.

BreconBeBuggered · 05/09/2019 20:19

Jeez, do we really have to misgender an apparently innocuous fictional soap teenager? Although - Yashvi's repeating year whateveritis, so how come her erstwhile schoolfriend McKenzie is still in the same year?

Sux2buthen · 05/09/2019 20:48

@BreconBeBuggered agreed. Also, true they wouldn't be in the same year.
Hoping this stays a neighbours thread and doesn't turn into a politics thread.

AGnu · 05/09/2019 20:55

Mackenzie did express surprise at being in the same class as Yashvi so I guess they weren't in the same year group originally.

Starburst8 · 05/09/2019 21:20

Surely MrsSteve means she when referring to Mackenzie 🤔
Just a bit of info (if needed) Georgie Stone who plays Mackenzie transitioned at the age of 10.

On another note I'm intrigued to find out just exactly how Shane was friends with her dad etc. What's the story behind it and what's it leading to?
It's good to have a break from Amy/Kyle/Gary storylines (I know that's solved but still)
Also when is Clive gonna realise he really needs to be with Sheila?

MiddleClassProblem · 05/09/2019 22:14

@BreconBeBuggered couldn’t agree more.

I’m glad they didn’t drag out the suspecting Shane’s her dad plot too long. But why did Yashvi walk out when she was so desperate for answers? Yes, I know, just so she could talk to Mackenzie alone
