I finally got round to watching the Mac documentary - it was really good. I loved how they "set" it in NYC. Also the relationship between him and Borg/Gerulaitis - v touching.

I love J Mac.

Slightly, tenuously, tennis related- I have spent the morning with dd1 in Stockport shopping centre, whilst Dd2 did Frog trail around town with her brownie pack. I am not sure what frogs have to do with Stockport -the bee trail around Manchester had a connection. But they are wearing hats. Stockport is famous-ish for the hatworks. It is also lot more contained than the Bee trail which spread for miles .

Tenuous tennis connection - Fred Perry was from Stockport . There was a frog called Freddie, but sadly nothing to do with tennis. .

Tennis players have envy-inducing holidays that's for sure.

I've just been scrolling through Instagram and it's just picture after picture of sun, sea and sand

Apart from Delpo and his new girlf who look like they're promoting the latest made for TV Christmas film, ie cute and snowy

Played tennis this morning the first time in nearly a year against DS, who plays every week and is 37 years younger.

These youngsters though. My usual group was cancelled a few weeks ago so I rashly went to the team practice instead omg. It was full of teenagers running at the speed of cheetahs and trying to smash each other by blasting huge serves I was terrified - and knackered.

I've gone back to the Friday ladies' group - much more sedate and sometimes we have cake. So much better
