I’ve just finished this epic episode and am panicking cause I can’t find the new thread! If there is one I’ll just delete this one!

I do also think Joanna is far more attractive than Amber, not sure where Amber was looking when she commented on Joanna's look. It was probably just a dented ego talking. I said on day 1 that I thought Amber was gorgeous & has an amazing figure. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Joanna has pretty eyes.

I’m not surprised at Michael s behaviour, it’s resentment building up...drip by drip.

Michael 100% thought he'd get a massive reaction from Amber. Which he could then point at to show what a nightmare drama queen she was.

If she'd just got really upset - ditto. Or he'd have said she was faking upset.

However she reacted he would have twisted it to suit himself. Because he's a clever manipulator. However he's not clever enough to realise that had he stayed with Amber he'd probably have won. Whereas now he'll just be remembered as an unpleasant gaslighter.

I have sympathy with Anna. When I was at uni, I was a very self-righteous, passionate person and considered myself a "good friend". I would leap to the defence of anyone I considered hard done by and would make sure that the wrong doer was told in no uncertain terms they were wrong.

It all came from a good place but I look back and see how intolerant and unforgiving I was of other people's weaknesses.

Anna is misguided but not a bag person.

I agree I don't think there's anything wrong with the way Amy reacted, she fell apart with her friends/alone, haven't most of us been there? And Curtis really did do a pretty good job of convincing her they were solid and headed for a future together.

I think that Amber behaved maturely.

I am even more convinced that Michael is not into Joanna. As I said previously, he thought that Amber was going to come in with another bloke an so went with Joanna.
Michael is insecure and his aim was to bring Amber down a peg or two

I am not convinced that Michael prefers Joanna to Amber either. The way he reacted tonight could only mean he has deep feelings for the girl I think he convinced himself she would couple up and everyone thought he was whipped if he didn't attempt to talk to other girls. I think he finds Joanna attractive but all they seem to show is those two talking about Amber!

Munhu I never saw her as nasty, like others in there she has good sides & bad sides. Even if she was a nightmare I’d feel sorry for her.

I thought she said he too... but either way, yep not nice, but god she was reacting to Michael ditching her in a really cruel way, and didn't actually say it to Joanna, but to her friends in a horrible moment.

Joanna is clearly good looking, but I do think Amber is much prettier.

I completely agree in the past we have definitely had a lot of I love yous by now and I think even last year jack and Danny said it on the return from Casa Amor! Amy is intense yes but even Curtis said he has been saying thief relationship was perfect, I don't think she had any reason to doubt!

Lots of people have been off when someone has come in and taken their partner! Boys and girls! Amber I thought was quite tame and would have been morse so without Anna egging her on!

Sorry but I think Amber is the gaslighted.
And the only reason why didn’t hadn’t kicked off is precisely because she knew Michael expect her to, and it’s a deliberate decision and taken a lot of her self control to not to give him that satisfaction.

When the 2 girls were getting ready Amber actually acknowledged that she called her a dead ting - she discussed it with the girls before her outing with Joanna - she said that that was the thing Joanna would be pissed about but that she’s explain it was heat of the moment! Did no one see that but?!

I heard it as 'no it's fine, it's a dead ting' meaning that it's fucked, done, not worth it. That's the only context I know it in. Never heard a person referred to one before.

motherofcats81 glad it wasn't just me! I think her saying 'she' was what people expected to hear from her. Not good either way tho, I agree.
