I’ve just finished this epic episode and am panicking cause I can’t find the new thread! If there is one I’ll just delete this one!

I must be watching a different Amber than swathes of commentary on here. I think Amber really liked Michael but was worried about being hurt (accurately as it transpires). She has many defence mechanisms but is a very sweet and loyal girl overall.
I thought Michael should have said ‘I liked her more’ - I thought it was weak trying to place the blame on Amber and I thought he then tried to control how she experienced her emotion and the reactions and emotions of the others too. Being older and telling people they are acting like children for very rightly being hurt was a tool move.
He is being aggressively defensive as he has been a completely duplicitous twat and he knows how much hurt he has caused. Instead of taking it on the chin what what he has done he has placed blame on Amber and now involved all the others by claiming to be hurt as he thought they were his friends - simply deflected drama in the hope that the root - his twattery - becomes minor compared to the fall out
Also Amber is a mile hotter than the new girl imo. I was disappointed she said it but understood how she’d lash out in the moment. Her beef is with Michael not Joanna

Also what Anna did does not equal what Michael did.
Had he not been such a defensive tool that conversation could have been her expressing dismay and confusion- he would never let that be the case.
Interesting game he has played. To somehow try to prove he was justified in his actions by pushing other people’s buttons. No thanks

It started with Anna actually being calm until he kicked off and then it when down hill

She approached him for an argument, not a conversation. Its a form of intimidation led by their height I suppose. I think Anna is an absolute nightmare. She comes across really rough and a troublemaker. Amber is of the same ilk.

When I read posts from people who can't see what she is doing is anything wrong, it makes me wonder what those posters themselves are like.

It makes for interesting viewing but I would not like to come across the likes of Anna or Amber on a night out!

@SlipperOrchid weird isn’t it but I don’t read her like that at all. I am 5 10 also so perhaps I don’t appreciate the height element?
She was speaking to a tall man so I don’t understand the issue with her height? I do agree Anna was upset and even angry but I think she felt she’d been sold one idea of a person for four weeks only to find an entirely different person defensively strutting around after a break of 4 days.
He needs to deflect and cause scenes elsewhere to both justify what he has done and to take the bad look off him. I’d doubt it is the first time

I felt quite sick watching that episode, it was like watching a car crash in slow motion. I don't like Amy, but jeez that was brutal! How someone so emotionally fragile is in a show like this, is beyond me.

It did cross my mind, what if all the originals swooped with all the newbies, would all the singles still be in? I thought if a couple didn't recouple they'd be out.

I don't get any vibes that Joanna and Michael are a good match, all he's done is talk about Amber, they don't seem to have an instant connection. Didn't like his behaviour, but hated Anna's behaviour, horrible, bullying, woman.

I also don’t think Anna’s behaviour is worse than Michaels or Curtis.

She wasn't calm, she went barging over and straight in with an attitude, talked over him with her 'like?…like?… like?' carry on and wouldn't allow him to speak. She's got an aggressive streak.

Anna didnt start as calm.

She asked what was going on.

He told her theres was stuff going on.

And she sat there going 'like' with attitude.

Micheal has no obligation to explain himself to her anyway.

Micheal could have handled this so much better.

But this is the not the first time Anna has waded in and inflamed situations.

She is annoyed with Michael. Despite hee recoupling AND her cuddling Jordan and telling him she misses him. Bet she hasnt told Ovie that she did, has she?

So how is she any better than Micheal?

I am trying to with hold judgment on both Micheal and Amber, to see how they are over the next few days. What they have shown is when its fresh and people are stressed.

But Anna has done this multiple times. Got in other peoples business and started some drama. So I do judge her

I am not an Amber fan and she should has said what she did. She shoildnt have sat there and said Joanna wasnt attractive and she way so much better looking. It's not true and showed Amber to feel everything is based on looks only. But it was when it just happened. I am not going to judge her harshly for that.

Micheal didnt handle it well. We do break up with people because something about them doesnt work for us. But he could have been more diplomatic and refusesd to engage with Anna. When Amber and Anna tries to wind Danny up and gave him shit, he didnt rise to it. Micheal should have done that. But again, tensions were high and I wont judge him until I see how its resolved.

Michael actually looks physically different to me now. He looks like a fuck boy, like all the first impressions of him were right. His attitude and demeanour have totally changed.

I feel for amber. Yes she might be immature and childish, she’s obviously been hurt before and put up barriers which she was slowly letting down as she begun to trust Michael. He just couldn’t give her that time. I think she’s handled it really well so far.

The dead ting comment - that’s nothing really. If someone essentially ‘stole’ my man they’d both be getting a lot worse than dead ting.

Loving how Ovie is being quite protective of amber. Holding her and Anna’s hands when amber sat down at the fire pit beside them, and cuddling her when she was upset. Can’t see them coupling up though, he would destroy her 😂

I think Anna will go back to Jordan, and I think he’ll be happy to take her back.

Curtis now, he is the definition of dead ting. Get in the bin.

They need to get someone in there to sweep Amy off her feet. She wants a fairytale romance, the wee soul. I hope she gets it.

Not got as far as Thomas Furious yet, but I can’t wait! I absolutely adore tommy, and his relationship with MM they are the cutest.

I think putting someone in to sweep Amy off her feet, would be awful.

The majority of LI relationships do not last. She is the type, to fall head of heels at the drop of a hat. If she believed the sweeper really liked her, she would fall in love and then when they split up in the next few months she will be devastated. The split will become public knowledge.

I, personally, think she is the sort of person that need to be single and do some work on herself esteem outside of a relationship.

I love Tommy & MM even if they are playing a game. Props to them for being so well rounded at such a young age.

I was totally on Michael’s side about recoupling until I saw how he did it. Instead of just admitting he had found a better fit he started blaming and gaslighting Amber as well a becoming aggressive in his demeanour to her. It was sickening and abusive behaviour and showed his true colours.
Lying about sleeping outside just topped it. When he sat down with her he was gagging for a fight, having a go at her for smiling awkwardly because she had found out he had recouped, telling her not to raise her voice when she wasn’t. His body language was totally aggressive. Really disgusting! I hope he gets booted off.

Can’t compare to Anna. She just felt awkward and embarrassed by the situation and was at least apologetic.

Completely agree with you Bodicea. I think the fact that Jordan may take Anna back shows that their relationship was different. He’s seems self aware & after all he may have recoupled too if J was interested.

I think Amber is handling herself so well, it looked like she was in shock. As much as she was saying it, I don’t think she was expecting to see Michael recoupled at all.

I think it’s a blessing in disguise though, Michael seems to of had a personality transplant and does not seem to be the same person we’ve been watching for the past few weeks. He’s goign to regret it deeply.

Totally shipping Amber and Ovie though, there was something about him comforting her that made me think that something could definitely happen there. I have a feeling Anna is going to go back to Jordan.

Curtis and Amy on the other hand, I think after the tweets about the public not really being Amy’s number one fan, I think it reconfirmed things in his mind. If she’s not that likeable to the public, I can see how that would also plant doubts. He was just looking for an easy way out. He’s not really a very straight talker. He tries so hard to keep the peace
