I’ve just finished this epic episode and am panicking cause I can’t find the new thread! If there is one I’ll just delete this one!

Honestly just because a 13 yo girl watches this it doesn't mean she's trying to emulate any of them

It's a great vehicle to open up discussions about relationships, emotional intelligence, feminism, equality, respect etc

I let my 13 yo DD watch it for the first ten minutes

Someone on one of the earlier threads said that Amber seems like the mean girl at school that makes your life miserable, but never actually does anything s teacher could pull her up on. I like her, so I wanted to think that isn't true, but I can see her being the bitchy popular girl who is sarcastically nice to you, so what is there to tell her off for? I still think Michael has looked worse in all of this though.

Yes! Curtis has changed behind the eyes. He seems haunted by something. His recent behaviour has been so weird.

Curtis makes no sense. Says a lot but says nothing.

Not lying to yourself doesn’t mean having no filter and just doing incoherent mind dumps. Confusing self and others in the process.

Amber also whispered to Anna as she sat down something like, 'I'm not bothered, she's not even pretty. Look at her. I'd be bothered if she was...' Not quoting verbatim, but something along these lines. She then said 'he's a dead ting'. Then once they were all stood up she said 'she's a dead ting'.

I ageee that Curtis’ apology was weird it was like a kid after being told off for putting feet on the table by their mum

I didn't hear the dead thing comment at all the first time round but when getting ready with the girls amber said we already have beef I called her a dead thing!

And the only reason why didn’t hadn’t kicked off is precisely because she knew Michael expect her to, and it’s a deliberate decision and taken a lot of her self control to not to give him that satisfaction

It's fine to dislike her but this is just ridiculous. If she had kicked off you'd be calling her aggressive and childish and saying she'd proven Michael's point so it seems she really can't win.

I'm completely perplexed with Curtis nothing he has said makes any sense. Is he trying to get Amy back now or dump her

I can’t even with Curtis, don’t know what’s going on. I think his “let’s add drama, be the underdogs” plan has backfired & he’s stumped. I hope Amy turns him.

Why did Jourdan feel the need to tell Joanna that Amber said she was a “dead ting”?

People on here call out Amber for shit stirring but so was that. At a time when tensions were very high.

Michael was expecting a showdown. He even had his 'see she's proved me right' line ready when she'd been calm and collected.
Afterwards, he seemed angry. Defiant and defensive as it didn't play out like he'd hoped and left him looking bad. He'd spent days prepping Joanna to expect Amber to be childish and she wasn't.
He's another whose face changed. He's going round jutting his chin in the air now, scowling.

But if it was Maura it would be "oh she is so funny isnt she says it how it is" a PP poster was right when they said some people are enjoying seeing Amber being took down a peg or two.

Michael was smirking at Anna too, i cant stand when people do that. And i certainly would have called him fake aswell, they were all best buds when they left. Now according to him its Anna the body guard Amber the childish girl.

Sagradafamiliar - I just wonder if hes realised the reality of being stuck with Amy (by playing the game) and feeling trapped.

I really hope the counselling during and after the show is up to scratch.

I don't know if Curtis knows what he is saying anymore - he's clearly forgotten his stage directions. That random calling out "sorry Amy!!!!!???" in her vague direction is like what young kids do when they know everyone wants them to apologise and don't want to be the 'bad guy'. It's bizarre. He's totally lacking in sincerity.

I think Curtis wants to be free of Amy but is also aware that he has no other options at the moment so is half heartedly trying to salvage things for now.

Why is everyone going on about this ‘dead ting’ business.? Amber had just been dumped by Michael and was understandably upset. I would have probably said much worse and I am much older than Amber. It was the heat of the moment
You don’t have to like Amber, but she handed the whole situation well.Michael is just using Joanna, he finds her attractive but that’s about it. All he ever talks about is
Amber.
Michael is going to regret hooking up with Joanna. Mark my words

I found Michael’s anger disproportionate - did he assume she would couple up with someone else and is angry that her staying single makes him look bad?

Curtis has behaved so strangely - going after the clearly uninterested Jourdan and then his weird behaviour towards Amy - the way he said ‘sorry, Amy’ really insincerely and his blank face..? Is he losing it a bit? I think the intensity of a reality tv show does odd things to some people.

Btw, I really don’t like Jourdan. She is a shit stirrer

Maura gets away with a lot cause she’s so likeable plus the accent helps. Others can do nothing right, which is unfair.
