Am I the only one who has no idea what a ‘dead ting’ is, never heard that before

To be fair to Yewande she was spot on about Michael at the start

Amber saying ‘dead ting’ was pretty mild really considering she’d just been humiliated in front of everyone. Joanna is making a bloody meal of it though.

I think it’s harsh to expect people who are being manipulated for our entertainment to not react emotionally. The producers want these arguments to happen. Anna is not 100% my type of person but I can understand the anger she felt for her friend.

Curtis has jumped into this and now realising he doesn't want it so trying to put Amy off him, I actually feel sorry for him. Amy has moved it all on pretty quickly and acted like they've been married for twenty years, he's gone along with it but realise with the tweets that we all know the truth that he's just not that into her.

I do also think Joanna is far more attractive than Amber, not sure where Amber was looking when she commented on Joanna's look. It was probably just a dented ego talking.

I would much rather walk than to do what Amy did on TV. That was unbelievable madness, hard to describe.

In fact i would probably come across like Amber with bravado.

Im now torn with this, I watch it tongue in cheek but my 13 year old niece told me tonight she loves it too. I feel sorry for all the young girls trying to achieve bodies like these lassies and focusing all their attention on looks. I watch it because I see it for what it is..... I'm a bit sad tonight.

Molly didn't have a go at Michael. She was perfectly well balanced and listened to him, in fact she's taken no sides in any of it. She didn’t but you could defo see that it came as a surprise to her.

I think Michael was annoyed he didn't get a reaction from Amber. He clearly still has a lot of feelings towards her and is relaying his guilt of re coupling by being defensive and blaming Amber

The dead ting comment was childish, but when she was getting ready to go out she admitted that.
The whole thing with Michael was weird. It’s like he’d mentally prepared for the showdown with her in his head expecting her to kick off, and he stuck to that, so when she was reasonably calm and held herself together he just looked over the top.
Just odd that he was so angry at her? She came back to be blindsided by him recoupling but he was the one seemingly angry.

fancy I agree about Anna, i said earlier in the thread she has a warped sense of loyalty, absolutely no one can say anything/do anything bad to her friends etc, not that its right mind, she just ends up looking like she wants to argue with everyone.

Amber was right though, M didn’t apologise once. Do people think she doesn’t deserve one?

I think people are hung up on Amber's past bad behaviour that they're relishing in seeing her taken down a peg or two. Amber's bad behaviour doesn't justify the venom we saw from Michael today, which she handled very well. People think she's nasty so they're enjoying Michael's nasty behaviour towards her, which ironically makes them a bit nasty too. It's all quite unpleasant.

Curtis has definitely behaved the worst of them all. His behaviour tonight was quite strange, and some of his expressions have got me wondering about him. I suddenly get the feeling he could be a right nasty bastard.

To be fair, Amber did handle herself well aside from a few petty comments, but she's young, just been rejected and somewhat humiliated so I suppose they can be forgiven. As I said earlier she seems quite willing to let things blow over, it was Anna who riled everyone back up.

Maura and Molly-Mae are both brilliant. They tell it like it is but do it on the right way. They're the type of friends I want.

As for it only being 4 weeks, I'm sure previous islanders have said each week feels like a month in dating terms in there as you're together constantly, so everything is ramped up, full-throttle. Also in Series 1, I'm sure the L-bomb was dropped around this time. Possibly series 2, and Aussie one las year, but I may be getting confused.

It feels snidey to read so many people say Amy seems mentally fragile, broken, ill, nuts, ect ect ect rather than it being genuine concern, as she handled herself really well and with great dignity actually. She only broke down in the diary room, we have all been there but not on film thank god!
She has every right to feel confused- none of us can work out wtf Curtis is playing at and we're not the ones he sold a lie to.

I wouldn't take being called a dead ting seriously at all. It's a phrase used by teenage boys when they get pied by a girl they are chatting up eg. "I didn't fancy you anyway your a dead ting"

I do think Anna wasn't great in her argument with Michael but he was awful with her too, he has been laughing and rolling his eyes and throwing around the insults the whole
time, and then he accuses Amber and Anna of doing it. I also hated the way he was telling Amber she was shouting and giving attitude when he was absolutely doing that to her.

He could have told Amber it just wasn't working, he didn't have to blame her and make out she's a horrible person, it's clearly guilt and he obviously does have a major issue with the "whipped" tweet, which is a bit pathetic really. Don't think Joanna covered herself in glory either.

I do think the Anna/Jordan situation is not quite the same as they really hadn't discussed where they were at, as Jordan himself said multiple times while she was away.

The 'dead ting' comment is immature no matter who to but she definitely said "he" not "she"!! I'm sure she probably meant it about Joanna and probably would have wanted to say worse but I think it's unfair to whip people up into a frenzy about her saying that about Joanna when she didn't.
