Thanks for the thread Private.
And brilliant picture at the end of the last one.
I have discovered that for various reasons this week, my Wimbledon viewing will be sporadic. I am not happy about this. I am going to hope Rafa's match on Tuesday (I'm guessin git will be Tuesday) is scheduled later rather than early.
The rest of the week is very hit and miss- including the dreaded sports day afternoon on Wednesday.
. At least this year it looks like it will be considerably cooler than the last one.
I am excited about the tournament but really nervous too. I do want Rafa to do well- he's lost to Cilic and Pouille in his brief warm up event. There is a horrible feeling of inevitability that Fed will get to the final, especially given the draw he has- but if he meets Djok there, I'm not convinced he will win.
It will be a repeat of 2014/15- where I wasn't fussed about either, and only supported Fed over Djok because of the Edberg connection
. This year , if it comes to it, they can knock each other out .
So- if it's not going to be Rafa- which realisitically, it is unlikely to be- I want Stan, Stefanos or Gulbis
to win. I would say Cilic, but he has to beat Rafa to get that far ( but then, Rafa has to get to that stage too).
Most importantly, Jordan Thompson needs to beat Kyrgios. For the sake of the tournament. box office, my arse
