Anyhoo, just watched first look and feel yewande is making an issue out of her and Danny so she can break up with him because otherwise pressure probably is on for her to snog him and stuff and I don't think she wants to! I think Anton and yewande could couple up to be safe.
I was also shocked at how brazen Maura was saying she's never had to woo a guy. Lol she just always had them falling at her feet. I actually don't think she's very attractive and certainly not when she opens her mouth!

It’s not that I’m “impressed” by her being a pharmacist, any more than I was “impressed” by Alex being a doctor last year, or Wes being a nuclear engineer. Its not a one in a million achievement. But so what? Has she ever said it is? it’s a good job you can’t get without intelligence and hard work so fair play to her.

I think with no disrespect to them a lot of girls on Love Island don’t have jobs like that so that’s probably why it gets mentioned.

I agree, I think the doctors, pharmacists, nuclear engineers etc get mentioned to combat the criticism of Islanders having just their looks.

None of them come across particularly intelligent to be honest, they all seem pretty normal, some better educated than others but no-one obviously intelligent in there.

Sorry for further derailment but to the sarky comment from Totur saying 'it's not like she's researching the cure for cancer or something' actually you can with a pharmacy degree. Most pharmacy degrees these days equip you with the skills to work in the pharmaceutical industry. A lot of my lecturers work in drug discovery, my master's project was in drug discovery, but hey, I'm a soon to be pill counter
