I had to ask my teenage DS what ‘salty’ meant - he said it means grumpy. I don’t understand why a lot of the commentators seem to be down on Rafa - he always seems polite and quite obliging in interviews and respectful towards his fellow players unless I’m missing something?

I think maybe he doesn’t think that the next gen players don’t always show tennis the respect he thinks it deserves.

Fizzy your e not missing anything- Rafa speaks very highly of the next gen players, and is renowned for how humble and respectful he is on tour.
