I just caught the tail end of an interview with Evans yesterday where he was saying that you could only play tennis if you were rich. I didn’t hear the question but not sure if he lost some of his funding when he was banned?

It always makes me laugh to hear these three pontificating on how Djokovic, Nadal et al should play. None of them were exactly stellar players themselves but now they know it all from the safety of the commentary box.

It was during an interview with Annabel Croft, Kazza- she retired at 21, he laughed and said he dragged things on til he was about 28- but he wasn't winning, and they needed money- so he took the tv presenting job! He was actually pretty funny about it.
