That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

I just looked up the penalty for driving without insurance - it looks as though £300 fine and six points is the usual penalty. Much cheaper for Nikki to have coughed up for this than submit to the ridiculous blackmail demands. I know there'd be the cost of the damage to the other car as well, but why has she suddenly lost all sense of the sensible thing to do? She needs a friend to steer her in the right direction (and I don't mean Cam or Chloe).

Why do characters in Holby never have any friends other than other characters in Holby?

Poor Niki. I don't think it is uncommon for families with one or two professional to believe those professionals have nothing to lose. Chloe and Cam are dull.
I think Essie will eventually go with Sasha, her new chap is a sly dick he totally dropped Nikki in it intentionally.

I honestly can't see the attraction in Ben.

I did actually think Essie looked stunning when she was all dolled up for the ball!

Maybe she's someone who loves the thrill of the chase and the giddy early days of a relationship?

Don't think anyone has mentioned it yet - which character has had their tummy gurgling loudly several times now? Was it Sacha? I think it's happened in 2 episodes now, so it must be leading to something, unless it was just meant to show nerves. He was eating more than normal.

I don't find Ben attractive at all. I have a feeling he is like Evan nasty.
Essie is a good looking lady no doubt.
I thought Nikki's dress fit her really well too.

I think if Mom gets the points she'll lose her license and then her job and then her home. Nikki needs to go talk to Xav.

Donna was especially annoying today. She IS ordinary looking. Wonder if we'll be left to forget about the modelling or if there will be some sleaze guy trying to exploit Mia down the line etc and Xav will have to step in

I agree, Donna was daft re the modelling. Doesn't Xav have a background in modelling as a child?

Yes, that's why hew as warning her off, and why he had the money to help Nikki out last time

I would like Xav to end up with Nikki. I really don't like Donna - she's a bit of an airhead!

When Max was going mad at Nikki and saying she “stole” due to doing the locum shift, does she mean the fact Nikki got paid whilst still getting her NHS pay during her sickie?

And if so, what did she mean when she told Nikki she had to pay it all back?! Pay what money back to who? It left me feeling really confused.

I think Essie looked a bit upset when Sacha was telling her that he was over her and letting her go etc. Maybe deep down she does love him. I would like to see them end up together because I did like them as a couple.

I really, really wish that Xav would do something with his hair because I think he looks ridiculous.

And as for Nikki - from the minute she walked into their flat it was obvious that she was going to pretend the necklace had been stolen. I think the whole storyline is stupid to be honest and I’m really hoping that they don’t drag it out for too long.

I liked it last night when Ric was standing up for Sacha when Max was trying to stop him operating - it was nice to see Ric being loyal again and having a bit of integrity.

I don't see how Nikki is going to come out of this well. And messing with Cam is not the way to go, although of course they don't yet know what a complete psychopath he is.

I think the Nikki and Cam storyline will highlight the madness of Cam.

They certainly slept together at one point, didn't they? And she was trying to put off Chloe from dating him, only a couple of episodes ago.

Agree that Essie was about to say something profound to Sacha (possibly about still having feelings for him) when numpty Ben barged in.

Yes @QueenofmyPrinces it’s part of our mandatory NHS fraud training where I work that you can’t earn money on a day you’re claiming sick leave. Otherwise it is fraud.

And Nikki will now have to pay back Holby for any days they paid her for sick leave.

Nikki wasn't going on a date with him, they arranged drinks (prob at ALbie's) and he said "It's a date!" and she got overly excited then Chlo declared her intention to date him

Oh help, why was Chloe drinking? Is she still pregnant?

Not sure @barkingfly. Her pregnancy hasn't been mentioned in the most recent episodes, has it?

I'd forgotten about Chloe's pregnancy. There was a whole bit about whether or not she would terminate it and I thought she decided not to because of her own conception. Did she decide to go through with a termination?

BTW I was almost tempted to think that Ben might have set Sacha up with Essie for a Valentine's Day date. And then was there a bit of a flirt in the scene he had with Dom?

@SoupDragon, definitely the last mention of the pregnancy was when she was talking with LIbby about whether to have a termination or not. She seemed to be against it but it's been forgotten about since. Can't remember if she told Ange either?
