How did they manage to make it so current. Radio station had Doris day's death on it. Clever way of making it feel v real.

Would love to say that I enjoyed it but it's more like I'm gripped by it. Really looking forward to the next episode though.

Agree I can't say I enjoyed it either but very gripping! The moving emoji face thing was a bit disturbing too

Felt a bit like an episode of Dr Who woven into a Casualty storyline!

Really well done, but hard to see how that pace can be sustained! Little Black Mirroresque touches like the real life cartoon animal filter were great, as was the dark humour.

That was extremely nerve-wracking and utterly brilliant.

I used to be worried sick about a nuclear war in the 80's and this brought it all back to me.

DD (21) felt the need to go and watch something soothing and calming at the end.... she was seriously worried about Trump. The news story cut-in about Doris Day made it very topical.

I thought it was excellent. Not too much futuristic stuff - though the filters on the daughter were exceptionally creepy, but the sex robot was just funny. Great cast, great acting.

Fuck, I should’ve watched this when my DH was home! Terrifyingly close to reality.

Also, big thanks to the police car that decided to pass by the house just as the sirens started.....3D effect complete with flashing lights

That was intense! I was actually panicking about where I'd go if the sirens went off. Now I'm trying to calm myself down enough to go to bed. 🙁

Thought this was brilliant. Was glued to tv and that doesn't happen often.

I thought it was excellent. Quite scary. We haven't had to think about a war like this for a long time.
