The Nights Watch. GAME OF THRONES. SEASON 8 EPISODE 5. May 13 UK. SPOILERS AFTER 2am.

So, now we battle for King's Landing and the Throne.

The penultimate episode of this most epic of tales. Can Cersei survive? Will Euron catch on and wonder how Tyrion could have known of the pregnancy? Will Arya and the Hound beat Jaime in the race south?

As ever, no leaks or spoilers please until we watch the episode live together. Our Watch begins....

Daenerys and Jon can both go fuck themselves, Tyrion has no power but Jon does. Though why the did Tyrion tell Varys, only to then tell Daenerys what he said..? Are he, Cersei and Jaime plotting something?

I want Sansa to sit on the Iron Throne now. Yet I really disliked her at the beginning! I think I'd even prefer Cersei on the throne to Daenerys now... (I have a weird soft spot for Cersei and Jaime. I'm hateful too...).

Bloody hell! So scared for Jon now. Is she threatening Sansa as well?

Why doesn't Dany get that it is the aunt thing which is turning Jon off?

Surely there is no way Tyrion can stay loyal to Dany, not now that she is determined to rule him by fear instead of love as well.

Yes despite the targ thing he was actually raised a Stark, so the incest doesn't work for Jon. No idea why she can't see it or understand Hmm

And yes, no idea why Tyrion told Varys....and then snitches. This is why I'm so annoyed by the writing. Looks like all the spoilers are bloody true...

Oh dear not sure I can keep up with the thread and the show!! I'm not sure jon and Danny will see the end of this episode I think we may well see the standoff by the end!

Is it the incest though or the mad queen thing because never once has he said your my aunt he just looks conflicted 🤷🏻‍♀️ Last episode he totally would have but she wouldn't because he wouldn't promise to keep the secret.

I think the 'aunt' bit was unspoken in that convo when she asked if that all she was was a 'queen' to him.

Yep it's more his doubts of her ruthlessness, his expressions when she executes someone or does sth cold blooded show it.

Well i think its the combo of aunt and what he is witnessing. Jon is honour, loyalty and doing "what's right"...and so he is completely confused about this situation now.

Loving Drogon though! Was hoping he was armoured by now but Dany doesn't seem to learn does she?!

Jamie and Tyrion good scene although I don't think things are looking good for Tyrion right now!

Maybe it's the lack of other dragons to compare him too but he seems bigger almost definitely more powerful than previous maybe it's just the way he is shown it maybe he is feeding off Danny
