So, now we battle for King's Landing and the Throne.

The penultimate episode of this most epic of tales. Can Cersei survive? Will Euron catch on and wonder how Tyrion could have known of the pregnancy? Will Arya and the Hound beat Jaime in the race south?

As ever, no leaks or spoilers please until we watch the episode live together. Our Watch begins....

Dd and I both love GoT but hated ep 4 and how it seems to be heading. So we spent this afternoon coming up with our very own alternate endings, so if we hate what D&D do, we shall simply ignore it 😂

I am so disappointed with Varys. He was so effective and played the game so well in earlier times, almost omniscient. Now all he does is skulk about with occasional one liners and I’m sure next episode he will just somehow be so inept he gets captured after mouthing off treasonably (so not his style!) and burned alive. Not the Varys I’ve come to know and respect.

OrianaBanana you coudl have used almost that entire paragraph last season but replaced the word ‘Varys’ with ‘Littlefinger’. I suspect the writers just have no idea what to do with them.

DP still doesn't believe I'm not staying up this week as I say the same thing every week, but it's sports day at school tomorrow and I don't want to turn up half zombied looking like I've been on a Sunday night drinking sesh so will be tomorrow night before I can watch- it's too bright in my living room it has to be at night.

According to Emellia this is the one to watch, supposedly bigger than the Long Night, so really looking forward to it and crossing all my fingers and toes it won't be a big let down. Either way can't wait 😊

Godddd I’m so excited. I’ve been setting my alarm and getting up just before 2. Didn’t manage to wake up enough for last week but this week’s promises to be more exciting. Been looking forward to it all week! HOW IS IT GOING TO END?!

It’s so nice that the end is in sight. Me and DH were talking about it and we can’t think of the last series that we’d been with from the start that came to an end when it was planned to, rather than been cancelled or something. We’re big Walking Dead fans but even we wish it would wrap up now. GoT finishing is very satisfying. Or at least I hope it will be!

Personally I think drogon is on borrowed time. I hope he takes Euron out as he goes though! I also wonder if we may see Cersei go this week?

I think the last episode will be about sorting things out and getting some resolutions so I have suspicions the death count will be high this episode.

Can anyone confirm for me - I watch via Now TV... can u watch live at 2am? Or do u have to wait until 3am-ish for it to be available to stream?

I think we will have a surprise with an early death of a big player tonight. Either Cersei or Dany I reckon. And possibly also someone that I have assumed will survive to the end, such as Jon or Arya or Sansa. Just better not be the Hound.

Sooooo jealous of everyone who's staying up, first week I've not been able to. I've had to turn all my notifications off, when my friends and family I won't be watching and may just leave my phone at home tomorrow incase I get tempted 😂

I agree some main characters have to go tonight apart from Theon and Viserion we haven't lost any of the main ones yet. I think Danny or Cersei tonight my money is on Cersei probably right at the end to keep us on edge for another week

Sansa Bran and Brienne were all in winterfell last we saw so they seem safe but everyone else is at risk I think.

As in she was the 8th to die or the 8th left alive? If you include the dragon surely we have already lost 8 (possibly even without 🤔). So I'm guessing 8th left alive in which case I'm wrong and she will be here next week maybe they take her prisoner and next week is her trial? That could be quite fitting actually take her out the way that jeffory did Ned and she did Missandei.

I really should learn to stop trying to guess I'm never right 😂
