Thirtysomething. Thirtysomething. Thirtysomething.
I have looked everywhere for it to stream.

gassylady · 07/05/2019 07:33

AfterLaughter · 07/05/2019 07:37

Malcolm in the Middle and a Canadian show called Re:Genesis

Petalflowers · 07/05/2019 07:38

Immediately thought of This Life.

Redlocks28 · 07/05/2019 07:39

I have some of these on DVD-This Life, Cutting it and Press Gang.

Does anyone remember a program called Attachments about a start up IT company in the late 90s? It had David Walliams in it-I really liked it! Have never seen it mentioned again!

Six Feet Under - amazing and one of the first ‘box sets’ we ever watched. Can’t find on to stream anywhere

coco123456789 · 07/05/2019 07:48

Also, can’t seem to be able to steam Sex and the City!

SapatSea · 07/05/2019 07:54

Someone near the start of the thread said they wanted to see BY The sword Divided. It is on Youtube. A lot of old 70's and 80's dramas have been posted there now. Free.

I'd love to see the drama A Pin to see the peepshow again . It had John Duttine, Bernard Hepton and Francesa Annis in it based on the F. Tennyson Jessye book based on the Bywaters case of a young couple having an affair and the murder of her much older husband.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 07/05/2019 07:57

Sapat, thank you! I just clicked on the thread precisely to say By The Sword Divided.

delilabell · 07/05/2019 07:57

Sea of souls. About a department at a Scottish University that researched the paranormal. I've found some episodes on YouTube but that's it

Disfordarkchocolate · 07/05/2019 08:00

*Boobahs I loved A Bit of a Do too, I worry it would look cheap and dated now but the dialogue was so sharp. And yes to Northern Exposure, fabulous TV.

GummiberryJuice · 07/05/2019 08:03

@elaine26 we got our ds 24 boxset for Christmas, Zavvi is good for boxsets,
got our dd desperate housewives and revenge, loved rewatching desperate housewives

Mother87 · 07/05/2019 08:10

Yes to Ally McBeal - it felt really fresh/quirky/funny at the time...

Also thirtysomething - a kind of a 'friends' forerunner... i rememeber DM and I being very attached/invested in all the characters - reckon it would have been much bigger if it was around now

azulmariposa · 07/05/2019 08:11

Quantum leap! I loved that show.
There's a new version of prisoner cell block H, it's been on channel 5.

Mythreefavouritethings · 07/05/2019 08:17

Can confirm I have A Bit Of A Do on DVD. Bit dated but in a nice, ‘aww, those were the days’ cosy Sunday afternoon way. And still funny, though my goodness how they put up with one another at all those dos, I don’t know!

Inmyownlittlecorner · 07/05/2019 08:19

Sex chips & Rock & Roll was brilliant!
I have the 10th Kingdom on DVD. I’ve just watched it with DD(9)!
I remember really random BBC one off that were never repeated but we’re really enjoyable:
No Bananas (it was set in WW2 & I think Stephanie Beechum was in it).
Over Here (with a very young Samuel West). Ball Trap on The Cote Sauvage (Zoë Wanamaker & Miranda Richardson).
Bluebell.
Tenko.

CakeIsMyFavouriteAndBest · 07/05/2019 08:20

Fat Friends. I have the first 3 series on DVD but they never released series 4, such a shame as it resolved a lot of the stories. Loved that show!

Mythreefavouritethings · 07/05/2019 08:22

Oh, and Dear John, about a group of, er, quirky individuals who attend a group for separated/divorced people. Not a single character was wasted.

Dragonlight · 07/05/2019 08:25

Chicago Hope. I'd love to see it again.

TemporaryPermanent · 07/05/2019 08:27

Not sure thirtysomething could have been bigger than it was, it changed the language...

I remember by the sword divided, loved it, might have a look.

I'm always afraid to rewatch northern exposure and this life. I loved them so much, don't want to see their flaws. the this life reunion show was so awful it cured me of nostalgia.

x2boys · 07/05/2019 08:47

I loved This Life every time I see Andrew Lincoln in something ,I tell dh ,that's egg from This Life yeah I know he's a famous actor now but he will always be Egg from This Life to me !I used to love Ally Mcbeal, but I recall the story lines got more and more ludicrous .

cortex10 · 07/05/2019 08:47

Capital City with Douglas Hodge
Also another vote for 30 Something

ovenchips · 07/05/2019 08:53

@coco123456789 Sex and the City is available to stream through NOW TV. In the past I've bought a monthly pass (for TV shows, not films) and just binged it for about a fiver!

@TemporaryPermanent Yes, thirtysomething was v popular and thus have always been puzzled over the years why I can't seem to find it available to stream anywhere at all.

missyB1 · 07/05/2019 08:56

Waking The Dead
Take The High Road
Ally McBeal
Citizen Smith

PreseaCombatir · 07/05/2019 08:56

There was a prison series called ‘oz’ that I haven’t been able to find, does anyone remember it?
