I have This Life, the OC and One Tree Hill on DVD.

I’ve got Cadfael and Campion both on my Amazon wish list for when I fancy them.

onemouseplace · 07/05/2019 17:14

I’d also love to watch Northern Exposure again. And I really, really want to show my kids the old school Flintstones I grew up watching as I loved those!

asteri76 · 07/05/2019 17:22

Sunset Beach.. 😬😬

prampushingdownthehighst · 07/05/2019 17:27

Prospects
With the late great Gary Olsen.
It was on channel four in the 80s

Cocolapew · 07/05/2019 17:29

American Gothic and Boomtown.
Boomtown was a police drama, the stories were told from different points of view during the episode. It was g6teat, I can't even remember what channel it was on, maybe Sky.

I loved "my so called life". Never seen it repeated but it was very much of its time

I watched it again recently. It’s still fucking brilliant. I don’t think it’s dated that badly- yes homosexuality is more accepted now but Ricky is so brilliantly portrayed and there are still parents that would do the same.

Kids from Fame Blush

Toooldtobearsed2 · 07/05/2019 17:50

Is anyone old enough to remember Rock Follies?

I loved it at the time and have tried on numerous occasions to find it again, but with no joy😑

Julie Covington, Rula Lenska and Charlotte Cornwall. I remember it as being kick ass women in charge for once.

Maybe best if I never have that memory disabused 🤣

SarfE4sticated · 07/05/2019 17:50

I would love to watch "ashes to ashes' and 'life on mars' again. I loved it SOOOOOO much.

Renatghost was amazing @Igotmylipstickon and the new show on Netflix Ghosts is quite reminiscent of it IMHO

Bookaholic73 · 07/05/2019 17:52

‘Bad Girls’ and “At Home with the Braithwaites’.

bananasandwicheseveryday · 07/05/2019 17:53

I always think that the great thing about programmes such as Bluebell, Tenko, Wish Me Luck, Upstairs Downstairs etc, is that because they were set at a time already in the last, rather than being contemporary, they tend to age better than a lot of other 'current' programmes.
@Inmyownlittlecorner I have Tenko on DVD, but it often gets a re-run on Yesterday.
I also love Dear John and have that on DVD as well. I find it amazing that Only Fools and Horses seems to be on a loop on GOLD, yet Dear John and Just Good Friends, imo John Sullivan's best programmes, are hardly ever shown.

Cardiac Arrest, gritty 90's medical show no-one else seems to remember.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/05/2019 18:03

I remember Rock Follies! Loved it, but I was a very unsophisticated teenager who would watch any old rubbish 😆

I think it would look pretty terrible now, so perhaps it's best left undiscovered.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/05/2019 18:05

Friday Night Lights. I watched it on either Now TV or Netflix, forget which, and thought it was superb. Then just as I recommended it to everyone it disappeared.

I watched it! It’s on youtube or something as I watched bits of it again recently.

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 07/05/2019 18:15

@bluebluezoo can I ask where you watched it? I'd love to re-watch it all I loved it. Jared Leto 💖💖

BelulahBlanca · 07/05/2019 18:20

My sister had My So-Called Life on DVD about ten years ago while we were at Uni. I remember thinking that made us the epitome of cool.

Married with Children

Can’t find it anywhere

thesurreyyouth · 07/05/2019 18:41

Mine are childhood memories that probably wouldn’t live up to the fondness I have for them.
The Sullivans, the cedar tree, Hart to Hart, flame tree of thika and tales of the unexpected (although it used to terrify me)

Muddlingalongalone · 07/05/2019 19:13

Came on to say midnight caller but beaten to it.
I have this life on DVD- tis awesome!

mashpotato10 · 07/05/2019 19:30

Sex and the city
This Life
Hotel Babylon

RedRiverShore · 07/05/2019 19:46

Alway worth looking on eBay for second hand DVDs, I got My So Called Life and Cardiac Arrest quite cheaply

Binglebong · 07/05/2019 20:24

My mum got Rock Follies and I tried to watch it with her. Both of us agreed it was BAD.

Hotel Babylon was rerun recently and it hasn't aged well either.Sad

FabulouslyFab · 07/05/2019 20:28

A Country Practice.
