I think Bran might be the NK and that at a later point he travels back in time and becomes him. And the NK has been looking to kill him because he hasn't been enjoying eternal life as the NK and wants to kill Bran before he goes back in time to become him, iyswim.

I think Ghost escaped because like my dog, he is very brave until actually confronted with something aggressive, at which point he becomes very interested in sniffing something about 3 metres away in the opposite direction. Ghost has been sitting in the bushes pretending he hasn't seen the fighting going on beside him.

If one dog was going to escape the undead it would be one called Ghost.

Tyrion - Maybe we should have stayed married.

Bran should be able to spy on Cersei. Quite useful.
Even find out if she's spawning or not.

Third oh shit moment is ghost didn't die because he has been dead all along 😂

If NK wanted to kill Bran because he is Bran and has had enough of life he could just have killed himself and saved a whole load of hassle 😂 He didn't just want Bran dead, he wanted all the three eyed ravens dead.
So glad it didn't turn out like this, a time travel story would have cheapened the whole thing.

I like the theory that Sam is GRRM and goes on to write this story 😂

The main question is: why would the NK want to kill Bran ^himself"?
To make sure he was dead?
Because if he killed everyone then Bran would be killed eventually.
It was silly to expose himself. But maybe even Night Kings can get too confident.

That was quite the episode.....

That beautiful exchange between Sansa and Tyrion has broken me....I want to see more of them together. Glad Theon found his redemption but wish he could have been the one to take out the NK. Wish I had half the guts of young Lady Mormont. What an awesome character.

Wonder will losing Sir Friendzone make Daenerys reassess and be more open to sharing the iron throne with Jon?

Amazed so many of the big hitters are still standing....we are going to lose some big names in the fight against Cersei.....I think the fact we didn't lose more at winterfell is to lull us into a false sense of security 😫

Maybe he was going to turn him into a white walker (no joke intended). Since the walkers clearly have a level of awareness and intelligence, a greenseeing, warging walker would probably make a good addition.

Where is Bronn?
The non loving reunion of Ghost and Jon then sending him out with the vanguard annoyed me
I found the music distracting and unnecessary (might be on my own here)
Where did Bran and the crows fuck off to?

Oh and loved the Hound and Arya protecting each other

I'm watching again now and I'm noticing so much more. I've turned up the contrast and brightness up on the TV too.

There is a really long look between the Melisandre and Arya when the witch first arrives. Sam ran away during the battle, after Edd was killed.

Oh and Missandei's eyebrows are out of control. Bran is still annoying.

I'm just about to sit down and watch again all lights are off (no glare here) contrast and brightness are up I think I'm ready

I’ve just watched for a third time with DH... pic was fine on our TV

In fairness I moan but my tv isn't that new and it wasn't super high tech when I brought it so that's probably not helping

We always watch it Monday morning about 10am and end up closing the living room curtains so we can see it. I'm sure the neighbours must think we have a romantic session Monday mornings!😄😄

Anyone else think this when the NK and his gang approached

Our TV is really old but DH now has an excuse to upgrade to a 4K 1,000 inch smart one. I might not argue with him about it now. I hate replacing things that aren't broken.

Back to GoT though. I love the look on Davos face when he was watching Arya fighting. Still got a lump in my throat when Lyanna was fighting the giant.
