Really enjoying this. Loved Mary last night going from metal cow to directing the scene.

We're huge HH fans in this house so it's good to see them back on tv.

I like Humphrey too, don't see so much of him

Wasn't too keen on Mary before but loved her on last nights episode. Her amazement at seeing the actors on the little screen 😆

I wonder if we will find out how they died, I’m really enjoying the series. I’m presuming they all died in the house/grounds?

We noticed the poet had a gunshot wound we hadn’t seen before (obviously it was there, we hadn’t clocked it)

So was the house the MP’s house too at one time? Because the old button lady at the start had been there for years I thought, so how was the MP there?

He could have died there whilst having an energetic time at one of Old Lady Button's wild sex parties

I so love this programme. It's got such a lovely charm about it, it's different.

I think I heard on last nights episode when they were fiddling with the radio that it was his house too.

Yeah I reckon old Lady Button was a "goer" that is why he died there.

Didn't he mean it was his house insofar as he lives there now? For a slightly woolly definition of "lives" 😂. Ie it's his home.

As far as I'm aware they've all lived/died in the house (or on the land it was built on in the case of Robin) as the 'older' ones knew how Lady Button died as they witnessed it already being ghosts.

We know Mary was burned as a witch but I can't see how there are enough episodes to find out much in detail about the rest.

I do like Ben Willbond in uniform as the Captain, desperately trying to stay in the closet ...'the handsome one. The one with the arms...'

Dobby it was me who said about Mary being burnt as a witch but that's just my guess - Pat alludes to her talking about her trial in their 'show and tell' type session but concluded it was 'too soon' Then there is the smell of burning when she walks through someone alive, plus roughly right historical period and lots of references to Satan.

Mary is covered in soot smudges too. Does she smoke a little as well or am I imagining that?

I noticed the gunshot wound for the first time on the poet in this episode too so I wonder if it was there before? Or maybe it was just not so obv.
