Well I don't agree with any of that. Men like him don't give a shite about their victims. And Victoria saying she is fed up of Robert when she's the one who asked him to meet up with Lee.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 21:19

I agree with you jane, some men never even give it enough thought to consider whether they were wrong. For many, it isn’t a one off, it’s just the most recent act of what is their normal behaviour. It’s how they live. Rather than an anomaly they will dwell on and come to a fawning realisation that they were wrong.

But I do think maybe Aaron was trying to give Victoria a way to move on.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 21:21

*dawning

JaneJeffer · 31/07/2019 21:22

I know Aaron had good intentions but I'd rather he spoke to his husband who is in bits!

Emmerdale are getting hell on Twitter for this episode Grin

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 21:26

Are they Jane?? Grin for Aaron’s speech to Vic?

JaneJeffer · 31/07/2019 21:31

For the whole storyline and how it's now portraying Lee as the victim and Robert as the bad guy and sending such a bad message to rape victims.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 21:34

It’s pretty appalling. They’ve had Lee rape her, get away with it and continually harass her ever since and now he is the poor victim, Victoria is willing him to live and telling Robert to leave him alone (If he wakes up) and Robert facing a potential murder charge!

JaneJeffer · 31/07/2019 21:34

I like this one.

New Emmerdale thread...”he didn’t lick it off the grass David!”
JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 21:47

Yes that pretty much sums it up for me!

Smidge001 · 31/07/2019 23:32

Sorry - I didn't mean Lee actually ever would regret what he did. I'm absolutely certain most people who do that (and obviously repeat offenders) are complete arse holes through and through. I just meant that I thought Aaron was saying it as a way to help Victoria move on. Ie he was lying, but to help her.

But it's ridiculous that she now wants him to live. I doubt that for a second.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 23:41

I thought it was actually a perfect example of female socialisation-Victoria willing him to live and hoping he is ok. Despite being the victim she still wanted what was best for him. Knowing that his survival will mean a lifetime of either hiding for hell for her and her child.

JaneJeffer · 01/08/2019 10:15

I agree Smidge that Aaron was trying to help Victoria but I disagree with what he said.

If she hadn't reported him he wouldn't have given her a second thought. He would have moved on to his next victim and he even said as much to Robert, hence the shovel incident.

I just think Emmerdale should be more careful with how they write things like that. It's very offensive.

Jojoanna · 01/08/2019 19:21

Victoria go home

JaneJeffer · 01/08/2019 19:27

It just gets worse!

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 01/08/2019 19:31

This is all just so ridiculous. I’ve yet to see a plausible scene in tonight’s show.

PrincessScarlett · 01/08/2019 19:33

Jesus, how much more rubbish is there going to be with the Victoria storyline? Still portraying Lee as the victim and his mum threatening Victoria. Victoria played the part so well in the immediate aftermath but this is descending into farce now. Just like the Maya and Jacob storyline that has now completely been forgotten about. No Jacob coming to terms with what's happened to him, the writers lurching from one mad storyline to another.

I do hope Tracey gets out of there. I like Tracey and can think of a few others who deserve to be stuck in the store room!

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 01/08/2019 19:40

Agree with that ,definitely don’t want tracey leaving!

Victoria might as well get “sorry Lee” tattooed on her forehead. She’s going to be begging his forgiveness soon.

Jojoanna · 01/08/2019 19:41

Can Jessie go in the factory please

JaneJeffer · 01/08/2019 19:48

Kerry and Amy are just awful.

Aaron tells Robert that Victoria would miss him and then as an afterthought so would he. It would be laughable if it wasn't making me angry!

PrincessScarlett · 01/08/2019 19:53

Agree that Kerry and Amy are awful. I hope they get found out and Amy loses any hope of getting Kyle.

Definitely Jessie to be stuck in the store room. Along with Amy, Kerry, Dan, Amelia and Bear.

Jojoanna · 01/08/2019 20:00

Yes Kerry and Amy stuck in the storeroom . And pull the plug on Lee and the annoying mother .

PrincessScarlett · 01/08/2019 20:13

Oh Frank, call the bloody fire brigade!!

JaneJeffer · 01/08/2019 20:27

Oh cherry you will be very upset Sad

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 01/08/2019 20:42

Oh dammit I liked frank!

People they could have killed before frank

Rishi
Manpreet
Amy
Kerry
Dawn
Harriet
Paddys’ dad
Jessie
Lydia
Sam
Debbie
Faith
David
Jacob
dan? (Kerry’s Ex?)

Of course Laurel overheard Frank telling Jai he will regret treating people the way he does and everyone knows Jai sacked him, Megan said they were having money problems so they will all think frank stole the money and destroyed the CCTV causing the fire.

PrincessScarlett · 01/08/2019 20:49

Oh god Joxer, you're right. Everyone is going to think the worst of Frank and he will be blamed. They will all think he used the stolen money to buy the engagement ring for Megan.

Love your list by the way, agree with most!
