I've almost given up watching. I record and fast forward and just watch snippets.
Unless Frank is in a scene Blush as I've been in lust with him since his Gypsy Jake Lovell days Grin

JaneJeffer · 29/07/2019 19:34

I don't like this Rhona/Graham thing that's happening.

And just in case anyone is wondering Diane hasn't told Bernice she's leaving because you might have missed her mentioning it 100 times.

JaneJeffer · 29/07/2019 19:39

Aww I've just seen on Instagram that Charley Webb has had her baby. I liked Debbie just hanging out in the pub the last few episodes.

SaintWillibald · 29/07/2019 20:13

As Nate can be short for Nathaniel, another biblical name, I suspect that Nate is the long lost son of Cain from a one night stand or love ‘em and leave ‘em affair he had years ago. Nate is probably getting revenge for his poor, dead mother.

@JaneJeffer I like the idea of Rhonda and Graham getting together although I wish she and Pete had made a go of it.

knorrig · 30/07/2019 10:45

Yes that has to be a connection to Cain...not had a long lost lovechild before so that must be it! Confused

Funghi · 30/07/2019 19:12

What in the hell am I watching Shock

What has happened to emmerdale?

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 30/07/2019 19:21

So are they actually filming a western? Or is it a live audience? Who gets to see it? And how does it raise money?

Smidge001 · 30/07/2019 19:28

I haven't worked out how the murder mystery event raises money either. There's been no talk of all the participants having had to pay to enter. Half of them have said they'd rather not be there so I can't imagine they've paid for the right to join in Confused

PrincessScarlett · 30/07/2019 19:30

I really don't like this horrible storyline with Lee. It's bad enough Victoria was raped with no way of getting justice but this whole Victoria having to move away and Lee blackmailing/threatening to be part of baby's life is just vile and the worst possible nightmare for Victoria.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 30/07/2019 19:31

It’s not like any murder mystery I’ve Done. Normally the actors rehearse in private so the participants are seeing it all for the first time on the day. You don’t walk around amongst them rehearsing your lines Grin

JaneJeffer · 30/07/2019 19:39

Ah but Bernice is in charge Joxer Grin

So fed up of Rosemary's Victoria's baby.

Smidge001 · 30/07/2019 19:41

Why on earth are they going to give Lee money? I mean, what's going to stop him coming back next month and demanding more? Threatening with a dna test if they don't keep giving him money. It's ridiculous. As if you'd pay him in that situation, you're completely going to lose.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 30/07/2019 19:43

Why Robron haven’t dropped Lee in a canal by now is beyond me. They’re more than capable. I reckon they’d even get away with it. As long as they didn’t tell Victoria.

LHMB · 30/07/2019 19:43

I personally hope Robert kills him!

PrincessScarlett · 30/07/2019 19:45

Exactly Smidge. And Victoria has plans to leave by the end of the week so it's completely pointless paying him off.

JaneJeffer · 30/07/2019 20:00

Why did ITV put a preview of the second episode before the first one ended? Confused

JaneJeffer · 30/07/2019 20:16

The actor who plays Lee is brilliant though.

PinkDaydreams · 31/07/2019 19:13

@JaneJeffer didn’t the actor that plays Lee get into trouble in real life for spiking someone’s drink?

He's a bad lot in real life.

I hate this fecking story and the way Aaron is barely speaking to Robert Sad

Smidge001 · 31/07/2019 19:36

Omg what a wanker. I can't believe emmerdale would have him playing this role when he clearly agrees with half of what he's saying. No wonder he comes across as a complete and utter arse hole. I get so angry listening to him and watching his smug face. (I don't think I've ever seen anyone look smugger).

PinkDaydreams · 31/07/2019 19:39

Bad isn’t it.

OP posts:
JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 19:49

I think emmerdale were wrong to cast him. He may have been the best person for the role but his association with date rape drugs should absolutely have ruled him out of playing a rapist in the soap. It’s a massively sensitive storyline and you want to know that the characters involved understand the enormity of it. You don’t want someone who fucks about with date rape drugs for a laugh and then lies to the police when someone becomes seriously ill advised a result of your actions. It just dissolves all credibility he might have had as someone who “gets it”.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/07/2019 19:51

as a result.

JaneJeffer · 31/07/2019 20:30

I can't get on board with Aaron thinking he will feel guilty eventually. No he won't.

Smidge001 · 31/07/2019 20:58

I actually think it was good what he was saying. Victoria needs to come to terms with things and not let it eat her up for the rest of her life. I think him saying that justice will come eventually, when he eventually realises what he's done - and that it might be in many years to come, eg on his deathbed/when he has daughters of his own etc - helped her to accept and park it and get on with life. And also stop the hating and anguish. If she knows it will happen eventually she can become calm and move on.

That's sort of how I saw it anyway. I think it was to help her.
