Maybe Jessie was acting all professional for once and not discussing a serious issue in the local pub. In real life a head teacher would not be able to gossip outside of school. Or maybe she just wasn't trusted to act it well!

I knew Lisa was going to have died, all the indications were there, but it was still so sad when Zac found her. Zac is actually brilliant at the emotional stuff despite being a bit of a buffoon most of the time.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 24/05/2019 11:18

How fab that they brought back the Woolpackers. I bought their album all those years ago.

It was brilliant!

I wish they hadn’t done Lisa’s death like that with Zak yakking on all that time and us knowing she was dead. She should’ve died in his arms while he was saying all that to her, not the bloody dog. Zak should’ve taken her home to change, she said she wanted to sit for a minute to catch her breath, Zak sits with her, puts his arms around her and starts talking about how happy he was and how they’ve had great day etc and she’s just slips away listening to him.

Mammatino · 24/05/2019 12:39

Oh yes maxi that's a much better passing. We couldn't understand why he hadn't noticed his dead wife on the sofa... Am sure the dog was about to put his paws over his eyes and shake hiz muzzle. I do agree about Zak being a lovely emotional actor. Poor old Zak it will all have to be about Belle though now.

ellenanora5 · 24/05/2019 13:17

I didn't think Lisa would die soon, but as soon as she said she was going home to change I knew she would, where was Brenda, she must have just dropped her off and gone home again, I love Zack, he's going to be heartbroken.

I'm extremely annoyed now with the Jacob/Maya stuff, they have ballsed it right up now, and I hated the way David announced it to the whole pub.

I too thought Leanna would be able to help and have some information, not just "told you she was mad" and then carry on being the little bitch that she is, she's so rude.

JaneJeffer · 24/05/2019 19:28

And I'm crying again.

JaneJeffer · 24/05/2019 19:31

Did anyone else notice Danny Miller almost started laughing and had to turn away?

Mammatino · 24/05/2019 19:33

Aww JaneJeffer. Tonights was much sadder and emotional than yesterday's. I think they will really struggle to recreate the Lisa matriarch character and I really don't want them to try. Brill actress, lovely strong female character who has had some amazing storylines. Rip Lisa Dingle.

Mammatino · 24/05/2019 19:34

Yes I think that's his goto look at the moment...where he slightly turns and puts his hand over his mouth.

ellenanora5 · 24/05/2019 20:11

I cried through that episode Sad

Wonder who'll turn up for the funeral, I've a feeling this is how Mandy will come back.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 24/05/2019 20:24

Is Mandy coming back? Is that a known thing?

I hope they don’t try and replace Lisa with Mandy!

Mammatino · 24/05/2019 21:04

Mandy is coming back, I read it a while ago. There is also going to be a thing around her son and paddy being his dad... Again. I hope she isn't Lisa's replacement but I would rather have her than Lydia.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 24/05/2019 21:35

Well I don’t know if that counts as a spoiler or not because they’ve already done that story! Grin

ellenanora5 · 24/05/2019 21:36

I just presumed she was ILoveMaxi because she turned up randomly and went off again so I thought she'd be back at some stage.

Mammatino I feel the same, Lydia couldn't replace Lisa.

Mammatino · 24/05/2019 21:59

I think they did the story then realised there could be more mileage in it. I think she is wanting to come back but possibly just another short sharp burst. Yep so not too mind-blowing as a spoiler.

knorrig · 24/05/2019 22:18

Yeah I thought she would be coming back. I think the Paddy mini me who came with her before is actually Paddy’s son but she didn’t break it to him last time as he was getting over Grace. I’m sure it was even implied that he was Paddy’s?

floribunda18 · 25/05/2019 05:28

I was surprised Zak had so much hair, when he took his cap off. I assumed it was covering a bald pate.

floribunda18 · 25/05/2019 05:30

I thought the death was well done. It was a lot more realistic than dying in Zak's arms. The dog was the best actor though, what a hound, absolutely brilliant.

cherrytree63 · 25/05/2019 07:13

I saw a scene ages ago with Zak not wearing a hat and it took me ages to recognise him, he looks totally different.
Belle's crying really got me and so did Charity.

floribunda18 · 26/05/2019 04:34

I wonder if for the actor the cap is a good dividing line between when he is being Zak and when he is himself outside work. It must be very weird at times playing one character for so many years.

Redshoeblueshoe · 27/05/2019 19:27

What the hell is Paddy thinking ?
Would they even let him cancel the scan Shock

JaneJeffer · 28/05/2019 12:17

Poor Sam. James Hooton is such a brilliant actor.

JaneJeffer · 28/05/2019 19:35

Thank goodness the scan was ok.

JaneJeffer · 30/05/2019 19:59

I liked Harriet's speech but that ending made me burst out laughing.

FromDespairToHere · 30/05/2019 22:52

I've just had a thought. Wasn't Scott Windsor the father of Zoe Tate's daughter? Wouldn't Bob be asking Jamie and Kim about his step-grandaughter?

ILoveMaxiBondi · 30/05/2019 23:04

Yes he was the father! That’s right. Although I don’t think bob bothered much with Scott did he? Was he around much when Scott ask in it? Also, did Scott die or what happened him?
