Jessie was in the woolpack at the wedding party! I remember because I thought “oooh! Any minute now she’ll find out about Maya” but no. but then later David said they had suspended Maya, so clearly Jessie does know. So she’s there, in the village, around everyone who knows, she knows, yet no reaction from her? They didn’t think that through very well.

Oh I was scoffing my tea at the time so didn’t notice Jessie. Makes it even more odd she hasn’t said anything then. If that really happened it would be such a big scandal and she’d have to deal with it!

Yes, it's crap writing all round. Why do soap writers these days leave so many plot threads dangling? Now, when it's easier than ever to know the past or recent history of a character and tie something up.

They might tie it all up later on but at the moment it's not looking good. If it was you, you would have been banging on Jessie's door three seconds after you found out... Spending the first two phoning the police. I really hoped liana was going to come through with the goods but no, still just a really unpleasant character with no redeeming features.

I think the reason why the writers haven't got Jessie involved in the storyline is because she's such a shite actress and will mess it all up.

Imagine someone coming on Mumsnet, saying their son was being a groomed by a teacher and the advice was dont tell police/headteacher

@Kurri. I agree 100%. We would be screaming, collect your evidence, contact the police, the head and the governors. Not let your trinity of mad exes kidnap her, knack it all up and still control the situation by covering for themselves!!! The message they are sending isn't good here, are we to understand that it's not as serious or as nasty because she is a woman, forgetting the 25 year age gap, the position of power, the mind control and the SEX.
