Esters looking better, but why is she living at dawns? Is she broke?
Tanya is a pain, I do think she is quite jealous,and needs a lot of attention, me me me!
Rachel, don't tell me she has a problem with hubby???

Rachel also gets on my nerves too. It is a bit odd of Hannah to invite her to choose the flavour of her wedding cake then not invite her to the wedding.

Looks like Dawn and Rachel fall out next week too.

Dawn and Rachel seem to fall out a fair bit but then I think Rachel just rolls over and they get over it. I think it's strange Seema and Rachel seem fairly decent but the way Dawn speaks to people how can they be friends with her?

Can anyone explain the situation with Ester? She keeps talking about her husband but I thought it was over between them - I know they tried again after she had a baby with someone else and they broke up but I thought they were getting divorced. Also did I hear her say in a previous episode she likes being at W Hall but misses her daughter, where does she stay? Why is Ester there without her?

Yes, @spidercharlotte if I went cake tasting with someone I would expect an invite!

I am sure somebody said on another thread that Esther lives in Rhos-on-Sea and just comes to Cheshire for filming. That would explain why she stays at warford Hall apart from her daughter. It's a bit contrived really probably to keep her in the series.

RIGHT! To my earlier post re which season does Leanne start to show the stress of the fallout with Dawn over the money. Just started the season where we first meet Esther. In the talking heads, right at the beginning Leanne says it’s all changed - her and Dawn barely speak, they’ve fallen out, it’s gone to the lawyers and money is involved.

I feel very sorry for Leanne. Of all the HWs, Leanne is the nicest.

And from the clips, it looks like Misse is badgering her, going on about “poor Dawn” because in one clip, Leanne is completely breaking down saying “SHE’S done this to ME and SHE’S the victim??”

I know. I watched the first episode of this season and Dawn is all pally pally with Seema and Stacey, and I just thought - the brass neck of her! I wonder what on earth’s gone on - surely she’s not refusing to give it back? But also, surely she’s not denying any money was lent in the first place? It’s so strange. But really, who knows.

Dawn and Ash say it was an investment, not a loan - so when whatever it was invested in (they have so many businesses - interiors / property / that clinic thing) is sold or the cash is realised THEN they get the money back plus or minus depending on how the business venture has done. I also have no idea where I got that from so I can’t find the source - but I must have found it in my major google searching at the time.

Ahhh Five that clears it up a little. I’m guessing though, having never invested in anything in my life, that there’s contracts and paperwork for investing money though. That would clear up any misunderstanding. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'd love to see the contract! there must be something official to move £500k around. You would think if Dawn was that good of a friend (and being as rich as she makes) she could have moved some of her own £ around and given them the £500k back but removed them as 'investors' if it was truly just a misunderstanding.

Well exactly! I wonder if it was just a pissed dinner and they just high fived each other because they said they’d make a killing together and then made the transfer - six months later Wes fancies a new car and says “hey - gimme the £500k when you have a minute couldja?” And they look puzzled and go “well - Love, actually, d’you Know what? we need to sell the clinic first! And it’s barely got started - your £500k got us a laser and some nice sofas - but don’t you worry, you’ll get £750k back in 10 years”. And bam. Wes says “LEEEEAAAANNNNEEEEE! They won’t give it back! Why did we not sign anything?! We wouldn’t give them £500k for ten years! We could have bought a frigging HMO for that!”

Etc etc.

But this is mere supposition. If it was a straightforward loan, with paperwork, I reckon no one will have bothered with lawyers; open and shut case. I think the reason Leanne was so weepy and miserable is because they forgot to do something like ask for a contract or clarify something so the Wards won’t definitely lose any suit. If I knew 100% the other side didn’t have a leg to stand on, I’d just fire up my legal team and tell my WAG friends right was on my side.

Can you tell I have really overthought this? And that I need to maybe focus on other things like how to widen my culinary repertoire or flower arranging?

Can you just transfer that much money to someone else without some sort of record of what exactly it's for? Plus these people have legal teams on call and money managers who would advise contracts... Also over thinking @fivetwofaster!

According to the Daily Mail - which I am loathe to link to - it was a loan from four years before and was meant to be paid back with interest after six months. But apparently it’s never been paid back?

Haha @gorgeousladyofwrestling the DM link is worth it just for discovering dawn got done for assaulting Sinitta! With all the shitty non-storylines RHOC has they couldn't have caught this one on camera?!

Love the fact that dawns spokesperson had to get in there saying money was owed on both sides. How can any of dawn's friends trust her?!

I also remember in one of the earlier series she went to ask her bestest mates, Bill and Ben or whatever their names are to be godparents to her daughters but dropped in she had never been to their house before...err I know she has a nice place but if you're that close wouldn't you have been over to their house at some point?!

I am ashamed to say I went to the restaurant Dawn biffed Sinitta in, only because of that story. Very tasty and now closed down I believe! And if you tell Dawn Ward over lunch that her husband’s cheating on her, you are lucky to get away with all limbs unbroken. Whether it’s true or not, she IS going to launch herself at you! Know your audience Sinitta!

I’m going to have to read Grit. I’m not that keen to pay for it, mind!

Having said that - The DM reckons it does contain all the details of the loan fall out and all other failings out on the show.

See - this is what RHOC has done me to. I LOATHE the DM and now I’m devouring it for the tiniest crumb about how the case is going.

Ester's daughter looks to be in a school near Dawn's house from the uniform. Think it's the ex lovers house (rob lloyd) who lives in Wales.

Dawn just loves the idolatry she gets from Ester, she even said last episode 'she idolises me' as if that was a healthy thing in a friendship.

I was reading up about Dawn whacking Sinitta. She's really not someone I would want to be around, I can't think how she has any friends.
