Nikki survives again! What the hell

Nikki again, bloody hell, I thought everything she did was dreadful. Now that Belinda has been robbed, I really want Leigh to Win

Nikki must have something on the judges. Her look was horrific - hairy nostrils and beard and no make-up!!! She didn’t even keep the thread thin and drawing-like. The face off is a joke. They disregard everything for a quick 10min challenge of fake eyebrows. They've already seen that Belinda can work under pressure. She was robbed. I’m backing Leigh now (or Ellis maybe I can’t decide!)

I haven't seen tonight's yet - but I'm really pissed that they have got rid of Belinda and kept that whinging little snot Nikki.

I've been watching this too and I loved Belindas moonlight make up. She is so talented and was definitely a finalist!

I really hope that someone in the Industry Learns about Belinda and gives her a chance

MUA is a well used term by most professional make up artists, just look on instagram.
Love this programme, but it really shows that the knock out formula, means that the most talented person does not necessarily get to win.
Nikki should not have won last night based on the whole programme, but her eyebrows were the best, it’s such a shame for Belinda, she is really talented.

Belinda was my favourite to win. Not watched it yet so gutted to hear this. Nikki should have gone last week, not Tiffany.

This stuff is just shit face painting. They are not make up artists. Not proper ones.

I’m annoyed at myself for clicking here, to see that Belinda has gone, she is definitely my favourite.

So the format of the show means that a contestant that has consistently failed in the main tasks can get through to the final simply because they are good at the 10 minute challenges

If they do another series it can be a 10 minute programme then because that's apparently all that matters

Just watched it - what an absolute complete and utter farce!

Some excellent competitors beaten in a "face-off" by a whining incompetent who can't plan her time.

Gutted Belinda has gone, she has consistently been the best each week and goes on a really silly head to head.
I am not overly impressed with the show, it is lacking something- charm, excitement.. and now sense!

I agree SHetland - I think the idea is excellent, but the way it is structured - so that someone who is unable to fulfil the brief on the workplace assignments, who can't keep to time and has little imagination or originality, can win on a 10 minute shitty little task - is farcical!

Theoretically she could win the competition . . (except that they said that previous efforts would be taken into consideration) . . . but if she did win - what good would it do her? Who is seriously going to want to give her a chance on their make-up team having seen what she is like in a real-work situation?

I'm hoping that some others who have been knocked out of the running (particularly Tiffany and Belinda) have been noticed by people who matter and who will give them a chance to shine and make a career of this. I'm hoping Ellis will win - he has been consistently outstanding. Lee is also excellent, but not as consistent. Though I don't blame him for taking the chance of being protected to try new techniques. He now knows what doesn't work.

The judges made a big thing of "If he hadn't had protection he would have been in the face-off" - how can they claim that? If he hadn't had protection he would most likely have stuck to tried and tested techniques that he knew he could rely on.

I was very angry on Belinda's behalf - she should NOT have gone out.

The judges said that they would be looking at the work each MUA had done over the whole series in the final so surely on that basis Nikki can’t possibly win. In which case what was the point of her going through to the final in the first place at the expense of Belinda who has been consistently very good indeed. It makes no sense. Really hoping Ellis wins. He has a lovely manner with the models and seems quick to learn and follow the brief as well as turn out some very good looks in my very (unknowledgeable) opinion.

I'm hoping that will stop her winning Cutcrease.

And I totally agree that as she doesn't stand a chance (or shouldn't stand a chance) it is a final place wasted.

It would be a travesty if somehow Nikki got to be the winner Schadenfreude. By putting her through they’ve denied someone who is far more talented and able to complete work on time, a better chance of getting a foot up in the industry. Am wondering if Nikki has a collection of photos of the judges doing something incriminating 😡. At this point she doesn’t seem ready to work as a professional MUA. Gah!

I'm still wondering (genuinely) what takes so long for some of the looks. Eg Belinda's eye circles the other week, Ellis and Leigh this week (both basically used an all over base colour with fancy bits on top - and we saw how fast L did the butterfly!)

I've wondered that Bobbly, but it's all I can do to put on mascara without losing an eye, so I'm not one to judge. Belinda was finished very quickly (compared to the others) last week and was slightly jumpy about it.

Nikki takes 90 minutes to put on the foundation alone most weeks.

I truly think that Val is jealous, Cutcrease. I honestly think she is threatened by talented women and is determined to crush them.

I couldn't understand why they were keeping nikki in when she is nowhere near the level of the others. Belinda was only in thr face off because Leigh had immunity, and she ended up being sent home!

But I think in reality the show doesn't care who wins - it's about entertainment. More people are talking about the show because of the controversy of the worst mua being kept in for the last 4 weeks because she can so a simple 10 min challenge.

I like the show though I hope they do more. Its so much more interesting than just make up.
