How come Heather has suddenly taken to calling Andrea "Andie"? It's so bizarre, she must have said Andie about 20 times today. She never used to call her that. Its like when they tried to call Aaron Az. And when we had to go from Brennan to Mark (OK, I've eventually got used to that but it took me a good couple of years).

Yes re Andie! And her accent has also become less posh.

Plus the likeness to the Andre\Dee actress is uncanny. 🤣🤣

I watched it but can't say I actually understood it. Are we to believe that Dee wouldn't have said at any point in 16 years "I don't have a clue who this Andrea is"
Did they explain why she went along with it?

Was real Dee so simpering? Honestly, give me fiesty old Andie anyday.

The story was a bit better than I thought with them tying it to Andrea but still, that was a very drawn out couple of years.

I actually found myself thinking fiesty Andrea was better than meek Dee. I'm sure she wasn't like that originally.

Yes, Dee seems to have been smoking something for these episodes. She was never drifty or wafty before.

The most confusing thing for me was when toadie half reacted to Dee in his living room (when andrea was pretending to be her); but when actual Dee arrived he was more emotional and surprised by her arriving. Didnt make sense at all.

And after 2 years of being conned by andrea, nobody thought to ask for proof she was Dee?! Even identical twins dont look THAT much alike that their daughter wouldn't know which one was her mum

Sounds bad but i was holding out hope for heather nicking a twin or Dee actually being Andrea but not knowing it because of a blow to the head. 😒

@spanishfly I was thinking the same thing. Ask my son who's who out of me and his auntie and he'll be able to tell...even if we were dressed identical. Plus we all can tell when Andrea is being Dee.. She's not as wishy washy.

I suppose, given Andrea's performances as Dee, RealDee had to have some quality to distinguish her from her doppelganger. It's a shame the writers picked on that kind of floaty skirted ethereal schtick. A better dye job might have been a start.

Can you imagine playing those parts? Am I currently Andrea being Andrea, Andrea being Dee, Dee being Dee or Dee being Andrea?
