Ok. Please please please could someone explain the Karen storyline? I had wrongly thought it was all made up by Andrea. But nope, clearly someone did meet someone called karen at the market.

Is it so that toadie can fall in love with Dee then andrea kills her and pretends shes Dee? I'm so so confused.

I'm of the opinion that andrea and dee/karen are identical twins but alice nabbed andrea when she was tiny or adopted her maybe and the red headed woman andrea saw in the hypnosis was her real mum checking up on her. I spend too much time thinking about this...

Andrea doesn't tho does she, she knows where she is and has told Toadie she's abroad. She wants him to think thats where she is. Karen however thinks something crazy and that finding Dee will help her get back into the family unit. But she's psychotic so who knows.

Agree must be twins. Either kidnapped by Karen or Mum couldnt cope with twins so adopted one out.

I missed the scene with her seeing the red haired woman. So was all the "no mama no" hypnosis real?

@SleepingStandingUp When Andrea had the doctor come to her hotel room for hypnosis she had some real memories, about a red haired woman watching her play as a child.

I'm a lifelong fan of Neighbours but must admit I'm going off it. I haven't got a bloody clue about the whole Dee/Andrea storyline and the inter family relationships are 🤢

Yes I think there has to be an identical twin thing going on. Maybe dee knew her mum was psychotic and that's why she's gone into hiding for the past 20 years. Maybe she was worried all the news coverage of her going missing at the wedding was what made her worry Heather would try to come and find her. Still doesn't make sense why she wouldn't have told toady she was safe though.

Good point about there being a lot of media coverage- surely Andrea would have seen the news and thought, hmm that woman looks like me. But it took a random encounter with Cindy. Does Heather realise who Dee is? ie Andrea's twin. And who does Andrea think Dee is? I think red-haired lady must be bio mum, but I'd previously thought Andrea must've inherited The Crazy from Heather.

I'm pretty sure the writers didn't have a clue where they were going with this when they started!

No I think the storyline of is it/isn't it Dee was as much as they had wanted a year or two ago, but they got so much flak for teasing and letting down the viewers that they had to find a way to actually bring her back.

Also I suspect they look on here for our predictions then film it lol

My theory is that Dee & Andrea were separated at birth somehow - possibly Dee's dad & Heather are the bio parents & it was agreed they'd have one each just to make Heather go away. Dee's mum got concerned about the baby that was left with Heather, knowing she was a bit unhinged, so went to check on her. Or perhaps they're both adopted but neither family knee there was a twin... Not sure how Dee's sister fits into that though.

Now, Andrea is happy for him to know that Dee's alive but hasn't contacted him. This is enough to make him question their relationship & maybe knock Dee off her pedestal so Andrea can work her way in. She doesn't want real-Dee coming back & being a distraction. Heather, on the other hand, has some twisted notion that she can bring Dee back & be a hero for finding her so everyone will forgive her for trying to kill Sonya, & Dee will break Toadie's heart by making him confront the fact that she was alive & didn't contact him, thus leaving room for Andrea to comfort him.

I'm intrigued by the bloke - was it Tyler? - insisting that he be the one who's contacted if there was a job going. I didn't quite follow... Was he there with "Karen" & gave his details as her contact details, or did he turn up separately? Either he's a controlling boyfriend who's twisted her memories so she thinks Toadie tried to kill her, or he's some sort of witness protection handler. Or perhaps he's a fake witness protection handler & has convinced Dee that the accident wasn't an accident at all & her life is in danger. I'm not sure how Heather will convince him to let her have contact with Dee in any of those scenarios though - either he's a baddie keeping her away & will refuse or he's a real witness protection person & will see this as a threat to her cover & whisk her away.

I don't know... I just hope that it makes a modicum of sense! Hopefully by the end of next week it'll all be over! I'm predicting that we'll see real-Dee as the cliff-hanger, possibly literally(!) today & will be left wondering either what her explanation for not contacting Toadie is or which one of them went over the cliff when they struggled & whether she'll survive.

Why did Ebony walk out with that box? It was a pointless scene that made no sense other than for Chloe to see she chose him over money and they are happy. Could have happened so many other ways that made more sense.

Bench scene could definitely be a witness protection meet with her handler. I really don't want it to be that though, it would add another layer of unlikely events if she's witnessed something, or it turns out she was never actually "Dee" in the first place & that was part of witness protection. I suppose all the publicity after she disappeared could've been dangerous if she was already in witness protection. It's a bit too like the Morgans in H&A though.

Did anyone notice andrea look at her watch today, but she didn't actually have a watch on 😅

I think it's inevitable that we will be disappointed. This story line started when i first found out i was pregnant. My baby is now heading towards being 2. It had better be worth my time investment!!
